A Small Glimpse of Just How Far

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

While waiting in line to pay for my groceries last night a small glimpse of just how far was given. The young lady had two children, a girl around 4 and another, an infant, on her hip. She was emptying her basket of items onto the conveyor belt. As she did the line kept getting longer and longer but she stayed calm not letting the noises from the line bother her. When all the items were on the counter she handed the teller the WIC stubs. As I watched the interaction of the teller and the young lady I remarked that it sure is different from when I used them. The teller turned to me and stated, "You used to use WIC?" It was then that I remembered a time when I was in the same situation and just how far I had come. How Great and Marvelous is our God that sometimes He reminds us and sometimes He spares us of the memory.

Abba Father, Alleluia, most Sovereign Lord, You are most Glorious and I am AWE of Your Goodness and Kindness. LORD, I pray for each dear sister-in-Christ this day that she would get a small glimpse of just how far... You are Her Almighty God, who creates and speaks and hears and hides and holds and LOVES us forever and ever. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Thanking Him for Small Glimpses,

Expecting His Presence

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I hope that your week has gone well. Mine has been in solitude. My husband is on the mainland being caregiver to his baby sister who had eye surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. I have been reading "The God Chasers" by Tommy Tenny during this week of solitude and tonight at our church we are having Worship and Communion time. I am waiting in expectation of the Presence of God tonight. And I hope that for all of you that today would be the day that you can boldly proclaim that He came near.

Abba, Father, thank You that you draw us near to You. Oh Lord, that we can call You the most Sovereign Lord, Abba. Praise You LORD. I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that today would be the day, oh Lord that she be overwhelmed with Your Presence, that she would have the mind of Christ, that she would see Your Face. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Expecting His Presence,

Are you Hearing It?

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Do you know just how special and precious you are? I'm sure that most of you have heard that from your parents at some time or another. Especially when you have been hurt by someone or possibly a disappointment in your life. But do you know it is true, do you know how special and precious you are in how your Heavenly Father sees you? During our prayer time this morning God was asked that He reveal to each and every one of us just how He sees us, his children. I prayed in agreement with that prayer this morning and I would like to pray that for each one of you this morning.

Abba Father, Praise You for You are Worthy of all Praise and Glory and Honor. Lord I ask that each dear and precious sister-in-Christ would hear Your words of just how special and precious she is in Your Sight. I pray also that this would build up her fairth to ask for even bigger and bigger things of You and walk in Your Love totally confident that You are Able to heal, to restore, to create, and to complete. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Are you hearing it?

Wrapped

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I am a little late getting this posted I know but there is something to be said about corporate prayer that is so amazing. During this 21 day fast our pastor has opened up the church for members to come during the weekdays from 6:00 - 7:00 and today I thought I should attempt to go. Praying that I would not get a coughing spell. Thankfully no coughing spell and once again corporate praying is amazing. Someone shared something with me yesterday - and in the sharing I knew that she was quietly asking how can this happen. I could not give her the answer but could only try and share in her hurting. So many times I am in the same place. I cry out to God and instead of an answer it is His Loving Arms that wrap around me.

Abba Father, thank You for Your Unfailing, Never Ending, Unconditional, and Everlasting LOVE. Praise thee for Your Tender Mercies. I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ this day and in the days ahead that she would be wrapped in Your Loving Arms. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Wrapped,

September Journey, 2010

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Today is the first day of September 2010. For me the month of September is a month which I know in my heart and soul and mind that Satan desired me and Abba Father said, "I know my daughter". Oh, what blessed assurance that my Abba Father knows me. So each September I celebrate because what Satan meant for evil and what was taken God blessed double portion. This September I will be inquiring of the Lord. Our pastor has called for a 21 day fast and prayer time where we will corporately and individually inquire of the Lord. How amazing that it occurs during the month of September when I reflect on those so many years ago when my Abba Father said, "I know my daughter".

Abba Father, oh most Sovereign LORD, our Heavenly Father, Praise thee far above all things. LORD, I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ this day and in the days ahead that she would inquire of thee. In her waking hours and before she falls to sleep that she would inquire of thee. In her conversations and in her silence that she would inquire of thee. In her dreams and desires that she would inquire of thee. Oh Lord I pray that she will hear Your sweet whispers and worship and obey. In Jesus Name, Amen.
