Securely Rooted

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, My bedtime routine each night is to write in my bedside journal about something that had happened during the day of which I was thankful. After doing that I pick up my devotional, "Daily Light" by Bagster/Lotz, which contains scriptures, purely the word only. The last scripture for the evening was 1 Cor. 3:21-23, "All things are yours: whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come -- all are yours. And you are Christ's and Christ is God's." To end my evening with those words were so magnificent and glorious! To think that I am Christ's and the best part is that Christ is God's. What a wonderful way to end my day and falling asleep knowing that whatever had happened in my day that it was in the Father's hands. I am securely rooted in Him and Him alone. He nourishes, waters, prunes, supplies the sunlight and the moonlight, and He begins and finishes my life in the most amazing of ways. Let us pray - Abba Father, All Praise and Worship we lift up to You this day and say thank You for our very existence and how beautifully You weave Your threads of gold creating the most unique masterpiece, how tenderly You form this lump of clay into a vessel of honor and Father, may each dear and precious sister-in-Christ trust and believe and desire to know who You are and who she is and what You are preparing her for as she lives out her day. In Jesus Name, Amen. I am Christ's,
LyndiaSue
