The Month of May - With Open Eyes

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Here I am waiting for flowers to bloom - going out every morning to check on the buds opening up - I feel like I'm back in time when getting my children to open their eyes was a really big chore. And it is the same with me, for when I am waking up in the morning it is better to lay there with my eyes closed. Maybe one of the reasons when it comes to the flowers blooming is because I remember what they look like and am excited to see them again. In my case, it is the opposite. I have no idea what the day is going to look like and thus I'm hesitant to open my eyes. Our Father in Heaven created us in His image and thus in times of blooming let us be like the flowers in bloom and the little child who opens their eyes each day and those who are waiting to see the unveiling of each new day that it will be with anticipation of the beauty and wonder of life. God is a Good God and He is in Heaven. God is a merciful God and He loves us deeply and intimately. So as you bloom this spring and open your eyes in the month of May expect His Presence and Provision and Power and Peace to flow forth and may your prayers be of thanksgiving. In Jesus Name, Amen.
