At Home At Last
Greetings dear sisters-in-Christ,
That which has taken my time on Wednesday afternoon's and Friday's after work has now passed. There were times when I would tell myself that it may be the last for I knew not when she would pass away. Yes, Nonie is finally at Home at last. She questioned me so many times after accepting Jesus as to why she still was here-what was God's reason. I could never answer her really, only said that He loves her and He has His reason.
This past Saturday, after eating a turkey dinner, and saying goodbye to those who had cared for her for the last 3 years she slumped in her wheelchair and slipped into a coma; never to regain consciousness. The Lord is so good for He heard her prayers and she did not suffer. As she lay in her bed, the people came. They hugged her and kissed her forehead and told of how marvelous and grand of a lady she truly was. LORD thank you for Your Goodness and Mercy.
Abba Father, Praise thee for in the very midst of death You bring Your sweet fragrance which permeates the room with Your Presence and Your Peace. Thank You that in the midst of the sadness You bring a Joy. Lord how Good it is to say that she is at home at last.
Lord I pray for each dear sister-in-Christ this day, oh most Sovereign Lord may Your Presence and Your Peace abound in their lives today and this week as they walk out their time here on earth and some day we will say the same, "at Home at Last. In Jesus Name, Amen.
