My 6th Sense - FAITH

Greetings to my dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Ever since watching the movie (trilogy) "Lord of the Rings" and seeing how Gollum turned from a man into something grotsque because of the ring which he called "Precious", I tend to see that word in a different light. Oh, how the enemy tries to convince that which is of Good Report, whom the Father knows so intimately, and is precious in His Sight into something grotesque. Just read Job and witness how he went from being the wealthiest to the poorest and the most repulsive man.

So you are probably wondering what this has to do with the 6th sense, well --- But by the Grace of God go I --- Yes, our 6th sense, the very Presence of Jesus, our privilege to call God, Abba, the Holy Spirit indwelling in Us. Faith - knowing that in all things and in all ways I cannot think deep enough nor imagine long enough, but I have God who makes all things and in all ways POSSIBLE.


My heart's cry (prayer) this day is

ABBA, LORD, develop in me and my sisters-in-Christ that 6th sense so that we are able to soar as eagles, walk on turbulent waters, be bitten by scorpions and not be harmed, ask for the impossible, seek the promises given and knock at the door of Your Heart, to receive the most desired gift above all. In Jesus Name, Amen

What Time Is It?

Greetings or as we say here Aloha, There are so many different ways and words-Hello, Howdy, Good Morn'n, and sense I do not know any other languages I'm not able to recite them.

How marvelous that we as sisters-in-Christ can greet each other in love (no matter what language is our native tongue). How marvelous is our Lord that when we gather together it does not matter our culture or our language or even what time it is. The Lord will cause a PAUSE in time and an understanding in our SOUL for how ever long HE commands for HIS children to PRAY. To commune with HIM.

So may we, in one accord, come before our Abba Father, may HE cause a PAUSE in time and an understanding in our SOUL as we come into HIS Presence.

Abba Father, thank you Sovereign Lord that I have no need to hurry this time with You. Thank you that you understand and hear my words, my desires, my feelings, and my heart. Into Your Presence I ask, Into Your Presence I seek, Into Your Presence I knock. My Lord, how Majestic is Your Name. I pray for each dear precious sister-in-Christ this day and this week. You alone Lord know each and every situation and circumstance which has brought them before You this day at this time and with words that only a Father's Heart can understand, may in the asking your answer come, may in the seeking your revelation come and in the knocking may You alone open the door. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Prayer - What a Privilege

Greetings to all of you,

Yes, it is a wonderful privilege to bring all before the throne of Grace. How easily I am to call upon a friend or to mindlessly talk to myself when I should be directing my thoughts to the One who is able. And then again how much I take it for granted.

I was looking in the back flap of my bible today and found some things I have been keeping -

1) a word from the Lord - September 2003

2) Water Baptism Certificate - September 1995

3) Church Membership Certificate - March 2000

4) a lock of my hair which my mother gave to me from October 1954.

5) a special verse from a friend who the Lord had directed her to give to me.

6) a letter from my daughter who was away at college - October 1998

7) my admittance to CDC - September 1986

plus a few articles about how to walk out my Christian Faith that I've wanted to keep.

At times when I think that I have come a long way on this journey - I'm convinced that the Lord draws me back to these things which I have been keeping. He gives me a new perspective on the keeping; a reminder of Who He Is and how He Keeps.

2 Tim. 1:12 "...I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day."

Psalm 121:5 "The Lord is they Keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand."


Heavenly Father, Abba, Praise thee oh most sovereign Lord, thank you for the privilege given. Thank You Jesus, thank you Holy Spirit. May I constantly bring everything to You for safe keeping. You are my Keeper. And just as Paul may I know and believe and be persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day. Oh, Lord may each sister-in-Christ commit all to you this day and believe and be persuaded that you are able. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Don't Worry Be Joyous

Good Morning my dear sisters-in-Christ,

Yes, I know that is not the lyrics of the song, but as a Christian the idea of being happy seems an oxymoron. We are to trust in something which is invisible-it is unseen, unheard, unscented, untouchable and unfeelable. How can I be happy with that? How can I not WORRY? [My thought is always, just let me get to it and something will be done immediately and I will be happy]

I sincerely believe that our God is developing in us our FAITH. It is in the inner man, (the invisible) where only God knows and sees and hears.

And in knowing that when two or more are gathered in His name that He hears, I pray the prayer that Paul prayed for the Ephesians and have the blessed assurance that just as the Father heard his prayer He hears mine. I pray this for my sisters-in-Christ throughout the world - Ephesians 3:16-21:

Heavenly Father,

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurable more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is a work within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen
