Psalm 23:2 - Beside Quiet Waters

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, This is a traveling day for me - I'm off to a bigger city and having some fun time and prayer time with my walking friend. The Lord put her in life through walking in the park. I would occasionally see her and wave and say good morning. Through several days of doing that we greeted each other and a special bond has deleveped. It is one of fellowshipping and praying for each other and also letting each other speak into our lives. I am thankful for her and grateful to the Lord for bringing this special person into my life. Now the reason we are going to the bigger city, an hour away, she has a doctor's appointment and asked me to accompany her and we needed to go early so we could go shopping in the mall. I accepted with pleasure!! I read Psalm 23 in my morning read and verse two stood out for me today, "He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters." It is still raining on and off in my area and the sound of quiet waters is still overflowing my mind and soul. Let us pray - Abba Father, Gracious Lord, I ask that each dear and precious sister-in-Christ be aware that You are making me lie down in green pastures and You are leading me beside quiet waters. Only You know Lord what is happening and what will be happening in her days ahead. Bless her richly and abundantly with such tender and luscious green pastures and lead her to the peace which passes all understanding. In Jesus Name, Amen. Blessings and Enjoy the Green Pastures and Quiet Waters,

Psalm 86:11-13 - Living Water

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, My spring flower planting and transplanting - done! Since we have very hard water I use a water softener and the outside faucets are hooked up to the house system, the plants seemed to be so thirsty for water and not really looking like they were too happy even when watered. We had some exceptionally high temperatures over the last couple of days and was worried about them having to struggle to survive, But the rains came, the rain from heaven came and what a difference!! The dirt in the pots are throughly drenched and the roots are thriving and the flowers are producing blooms and looking quite lovely. As I read today's passage I was thinking how great is our God that drenches us in His living water and soaks our roots causing our flowers (gifts) to bloom. Let us read, "Teach me Your way, O LORD; I will walk in Your truth: Unite my heart to fear Your name. I will give thanks to You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And will glorify Your name forever. For Your lovingkindness toward me is great, And You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol." Yes, each drop, each drizzle (His truth) seeps into the mind and body and soul refreshing and reviving and renewing. There are four words which I dwell upon while being soaked in His living water - Teach, Truth, lovingkindness, and delivered. These four words seem to revive me when I ask, "Lord I don't know what to do or where I should be" - He teaches me through His Truth and overwhelms me with His lovingkindness and delivers me from my anxiety and doubts. Let us pray - Abba Father, Gracious Lord may You keep each dear and precious sister-in-Christ humble and teachable and speak Your truth in her heart and rain down on her Your Lovingkindness in her life today. May she be rooted to the vine and blossom where you have planted each one. In Jesus Name, Amen. Being drenched in His lovingkindness,

Divine Appointments - Luke 5:1-11

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, I do hope that you are all is well with all of you and that the Lord is blessing all of you abundantly in ways you never imagined or considered. Today's verses come from Luke 5:1-11. As I read I thought about the times that the Lord has impressed upon me to go here or there and say this or that to a certain person. In reading the passage at first glance it tells about the abundance of the Lord if you do what He has asked. BUT verse 10b, "And Jesus said to Simon, "Do not fear, from now on you will be catching men."" Yes and Amen, the Lord is so merciful and gracious and His Faithfulness and Lovingkindness is forever and ever. It seems at times that I have trust issues, and the older I get they seem to crop up at the most inconvenient times (or so that is what I think) BUT when I focus on what His plans are the rewards or so much sweeter and lovely than I can ever think or image. So if you are one who has divine appointments or even if something comes up in your every routine day, just wait and see what the Lord has planned and purposed for your day. It will be a day of rejoicing for He has made the day! He desires that all come to Him and if He is using you to either plant the seeds of love or water the thirsty soul it is Him who brings about the harvest of that person's heart. Let us pray - Abba Father, Gracious Lord we come before Your throne of Grace in gratefulness for our very breaths today, thankful that You woke us up and have plans for our day. Lord may each dear and precious sister-in-Christ be embraced with Your Power to do marvelous works which you have given them through the precious blood of Jesus Christ. In Jesus' Name, Amen. Blessings on your divine appointments,

Welcome to the Month of May - String of Pearls

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, This past week and continuing until Monday of this week I was in search for a special pot to plant my string of pearls succulent plant in. It was important to me that the plant had to have the best pot to display the beauty of the pearls themselves. Why? Because of my mom! She didn't always wear her pearls for they were much too precious to her. She kept them in a box and were only brought out on special occasions. Three of the sets have been sent to family members and I have the remaining strand of pearls. In my search to find the perfect pot, my efforts in searching on-line became exhaustive so... Monday off to Lowes to find some potting mix for another project that I was working on and lo and behold there sitting on the shelf was the perfect pot. I have attached it to this post. Today's reading is found in Psalm 19:1-4 - "The heavens are telling of the glory of God; and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands. Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words; their voice is not heart. Their line (sound) has gone out through all the earth, and their utterances to the end of the world. In them He has placed a tent for the sun,..." As I read all of Psalm 19 these first four verses were so rich in His works and the word of God. In my search for the perfect pot I wanted the pot to be able to display the pearls as they cascaded over and down with each bead being displayed in all its wonder and beauty. Do you have a special flower or plant that when you look at it or tend to it that you see the beauty of the Works and the Word of God? Let us pray - Abba Father, Praise to Thee and thank You for revealing to us Your Power and Grace. O, Lord how majestic is ALL of your creation and we do not worship the created things BUT rather we worship our Lord and Creator. I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that she would be overcome by the simple things in life and overwhelmed with Your LOVE for each of us. In Jesus Name, Amen Seeking and Finding,
