Abiding in Him - Isaiah 66:2

Greetings dear and precious Sisters-in-Christ, I pray that your week is going marvelously well and that the new mercies promised everyday are bringing to you a joy and a hope and a peace that is above anything this world can give. We are having another wave of very warm weather and my dahlias are absolutely loving all the sunshine. I am able to pick one or two and bring them inside and set them on my kitchen table to enjoy. As I prepared for my posting this morning these three words instantly came to mind, "abiding in Him" and yes that is what I have been doing subconsciously for a long time. It did not become apparent until I read through some of my journals and prayer journals from past seasons. The profoundness of these words, "For My hand made all these things, thus all these things came into being," declares the LORD, But to this one I will look to him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word." Yes, Lord, the "abiding in Him" is so blessed and so rich that it is impossible for me to separate my every day living from Him. Yesterday there was a situation that I misunderstood and, if He hadn't interceded it could have been a very humbling experience for me. I repented and then realized that without my abiding in Him and going to Him first instead of letting my emotions take over is the most important lesson I learned. Now on a much lighter note - with the warm weather I took a little extra time to prepare for the on slot of colder weather coming and as I worked on my front bed the dahlias sprang into action. Somehow my eyes were drawn to each flower and the design and color took my breath away. I am thankful that they are blooming and there is still time for me to enjoy them. The same God who created the earth and the heavens and named all the stars in the heavens and who formed me in my mother's womb and never changes is the same God who created the seeds of the dahlia. Yes, I am abiding in Him for He knows my past, present and future and He loves me eternally. Let us pray - Abba Father may each dear and precious sister-in-Christ know these things and bring to their remembrance just how Great thou art. Lord, thank You for Your Son and for Your Holy Spirit. May each dear and precious sister-in-Christ continually and consistently and constantly be "abiding in the I AM." In Jesus Name, Amen. Until He returns,
