Faithfulness, Greatness and Lovingkindness
Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,
I'm a little late this morning in posting. The reason was actually the weather! Our area is experiencing hot and humid conditions so early morning walk's in the park gives me some quiet time and some much needed exercise. After my walk I needed to go into town to the local meat market to pick up some supplies. As I was walking in the park and talking to the Lord He gave me a new word, "crossroads". And as I was driving into town He stated further, "wait for further instructions." I have written that down in my prayer journal and as I wrote them down I began to thank Him for His faithfulness, His greatness and His Lovingkindness. My three words of being grateful during this waiting period. It seemed to me that adding the "ness" to the words gave it a bigger than you could ever image or ask or dream or consider. Yes, He is faithful and He is great and He is lovingkind BUT even more than that is who the great I AM is. The "ness" ending is forever and eternal!! The 4th of July was very emotional for me and spending it with family was ever so precious and special. My son and I traveled to Fort Bragg, North Carolina where son/grandson is serving in the Army. Of course we attending the 4th of July activities which was a concert and fireworks afterwards. The concert was so very good with orchestra and symphony music being played by local city folks and then the Army Rock band performed. The highlight of the evening was the fireworks! WOW. But the best part was just a couple of blocks away in the local baseball stadium was also having a celebration. So after our fireworks were done then their's started so for a full 40 minutes all who attended were silent except for an occasional deep sigh coming from the audience. How great it was to be able to be in that place witnessing the magnificent display of sounds and colors and brilliance of the fireworks. And yes the symphony was playing which made it even more beautiful. The musical instruments were so much louder than the fireworks. It was my example of His faithfulness and His greatness and His lovingkindness. Let us pray - Abba Father, I humbly come before Your throne of Grace and give You all the glory and all the honor. Praise to Thee for never forsaking and always listening and forever loving us Your children. Lord, I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that they pause and trust in You each and every day and lift up their hearts and their eyes to the heavens and be still knowing that You are forever and ever. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Forever and Ever,
LyndiaSue
