Above ALL Things

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

"Above ALL things", Yes this is one of those times when these three words are most meaningful.

3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."

In the midst of the pandemic and the once daily routine, which we considered mundane at times, has turned into a major crisis bringing with it heartaches for so many, may we see hope.

I went for a walk to ease my mind of all that was happening around me and with my loved ones the other morning and when I returned from that walk I happened to see some yellow flowers in our front flower bed. Last fall we had planted dozens of daffodils, tulips, and crocuses. It was the yellow crocuses, which were coming up out of the cold soil that had been buried in for several months. Immediately my mindset changed from concern to hope. May it be so for all of you today.

Abba Father,

May we come before Your Throne of Grace and give thanks for our very breath today. Lord may our lips be filled with rejoicing that this is the day You have made. Lord even though our ways and thoughts are so small in comparison to how high your ways and thoughts are, we still desire to walk by Faith and Trusting that as it says in 3 John 1:2, that we are Your Beloved and I offer up this prayer to Thee for all my dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, "I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth". In the precious Name of Jesus, Amen.

Psalm 46:10

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I must admit that when I watched the news of the virus in China, I had little care because it was so far away and in another country. However, when it reached South Korea I started to pray for protection and healing and salvation and started to become more involved in asking God to STOP the virus from spreading.

Through previous posts many of you know that I live in a rural community in the middle of Montana where there is very little threat, if I can use that word, of me having and if having spreading the virus. That being said I was still worried when I developed a cough and low grade fever and had it for a week. So I did not go out of my house other than to get the mail.

For many of you as of Monday, that is the case, because of the spreading of this virus - I can not even fathom the things that you are having to think about, deal with, or the disruptions that this has brought into your lives.

For that I'm am at a lose today as I post this email and prayer. I chose Psalm 46:10 - "Be Still, and know that I am God."

Definitions: STILL - not moving or making a sound; undisturbed by wind, sound or current; deep silence and calm. KNOW - be aware of through observation, inquiry or information; be absolutely certain or sure of something; be familiar or acquainted with.

Abba Father, All praise and glory and honor to Thee our most Sovereign Lord. LORD thank you that You are Faithful and that You are GOD. LORD, as each day brings more and more situations into our lives, may each dear and precious sister-in-Christ come before Your Presence and for a few moments or even longer, "BE STILL and KNOW that I AM GOD." The great I AM. The same yesterday, today and tomorrow. LORD as she sits or stands in Your Presence may Your Peace which passes all understanding and Your Spirit which counsels and guides and interprets our groaning and Your Protection which seals us from harm and Your Love which keeps us for all eternity, overwhelm them and fill them so that they will be able to walk into their day in boldness and confidence. In Jesus Name, Amen.

May God's Grace Abound Richly,

The Three T's

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

The last fews mornings the Lord has been speaking to me in the early morning right before I arise, which is very wonderful. This morning was no exception.

I know that it is not Wednesday but as I was listening to Him and wanting to not forget, it felt like He also wanted me to write this down in a post to share with you my dear and precious sisters-in-Christ.

The Three T's

Thanking and Trusting in Your Timing.

Tucked away in the middle of your bible are three books; Psalms, Proverbs and Ecclesiastes. The Lord has invited us all to the banquet of His delights.

Let us feast on these meats, fruits, vegetables and desserts He has presented before us.

First Thanking Him through reading the Psalms.
Then Trusting Him through reading the Proverbs, might I suggest a chapter a day.
Lastly, sit around and wait for His precious Timing by reading Ecclesiastes, especially Chapter 3.

I hope that each one of you are healthy and safe and also for all your loved ones too.

Blessings upon each dear and precious sister-in-Christ,

MUD - Job12:11 and Job 34:3

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

MUD! We are having wonderful springlike weather. All the snow mounds around the city have either melted or evaporated with the wind and sun. The frozen ground has started to thaw creating MUD!

As I looked out my study room window this morning I saw the tracks left by the garbage truck. There were deep ruts and where the truck had exited from the muddy alleyway and turned onto the street the mud from the tires left a trail of mud. I could only see to the corner the tracks that he was leaving but I know the muddy tracks kept going for some distance.

It reminded me of the consequences of our actions - MUD! Sticky, yucky dirt which gets into the smallest of crevices and depending on the consistency of the dirt, can be very difficult to remove.

MUD! leaves a mark or a residue that is hard to remove. MUD!

I remember as a kid we would have mud fights and afterwards it took forever to get the clothes, (some which I probably tossed away) clean and if you were covered from head to toe the ears were always the hardest to clean. Which brings me to a thought -

Scripture says that we are to test the words that we hear found in Job 12:11 and Job 34:3

"Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat?" AND "For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat."

Abba Father, Praise and Glory and Honor to Thee. LORD I pray that if there is any mud in our ears that You would help us to remove it and remove it quickly. LORD thank You that Your Holy Spirit guides and instructs and thank You Lord for Your Truth which directs our steps. Lord I ask that You would place a shield of LOVE around each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that any mud would not be able to cling to them. May their ears be opened to hear Your Whispers. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

I am listening LORD,

The Source

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

A situation has come up in our rural community which has caused quite a stir. It is the water! I attended a meeting to find out just what was going to happen and why the other night. A very interesting point was made that brought it into perspective for me. At the source, where the water comes out of the ground, the water is pure. Well, most of you know me by now, that my mind began to wander and ponder.

Our Source - Is Pure. Our Living Water is Pure. The LORD, the Living Water, who told "the woman of Samaria", found in John 4:10, that, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, "Give Me a drink," you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water".

The situation with our city water is still ongoing but it still remains that "The Source is Pure". Yes, dear and precious sisters-in-Christ may we Rejoice, be Joyful, bathe in it, drink it, soak in it, drench ourselves in it, the Living Water and know "the gift of God and who it is who says to you,"

Abba Father, Praise and Glory and Honor, Oh Most Sovereign and Pure Lord, our Source, our Living Water, where we will no longer thrist after drinking. Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that today she would not only take sips but BIG GULPS of the Living Water and be filled with Your purity to sustain her through the dryness of her life. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Drinking from the Source,
