You Will Show Me the Path of Life

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I think that my treasures have finally found a new place to reside. Because we needed to do some fixing up (replacing old carpeting with new flooring and a fresh color of paint) my books, nick nacks, art supplies, and paintings were placed in various boxes and stored in a different area of the house. I am just now trying to figure out where all of these things are going to be for awhile. As I unpacked boxes and placed them in their respective places, once again, I realized that there are so many things that keep me focused on what and who I adore. This morning I pulled from my bookcase a booklet that I had purchased from Barnes and Nobel in September of 2001, titled "Passages of Light" by Thomas Kinkade.

The painting is of a stone wall with the gate opened onto a lighted pathway - the scripture reads, "Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope... . You will show me the path of life; In Your Presence is fullness of Joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. (Psalm 16:9,11)

Yes, He alone will show me the path of life and what a joyous and glorious path that is and was and will be!

Abba Father, Praise to thee for Your Light that shines upon my path. LORD I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that as she walks through her day and her life that Your Light would shine onto her path and may she be focused on that Lighted path. LORD may each step of her life be filled with Your Holy Spirit guiding her along the way. LORD may she be filled with Your JOY. In the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.

IMPOSSIBILITIES

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

There's a BIG and ENORMOUS Cottonwood Tree that's been growing beside our house for years and years and years. When we bought the house we knew that it would need to come down but trying to find someone who would/could do was a big task for us. After asking and finally contacting someone who would/could possibly do it, we found a guy who gave us another guy and guess what? The guy that could/would do it was the same guy who had trimmed it about 12 years ago. Isn't this world so very small? I just love how things seem to come together in the most amazing of ways. Our God is Wonderful and Marvelous and Amazing and Everything. This guy lacked the confidence to get the job done and worried and worried until he came over and decided that he would do it. I told him not to worry about it because God will take care of it. His response, "I don't get along with the guy upstairs very well," to which I replied, "I do and that is good enough." Him and his team started yesterday and will finish this afternoon. I've been watching periodically and each time the guy gives me the thumbs up after he has taken down a BIG limb. I just love our LORD so much!!! How amazing of our LORD that He places people in our lives that truly need to know HIM.

Abba Father, how Great is Your Love for ALL, Thank you, oh Lord, that You place people in our lives that we get to show them who You are and how Wonderful You are. I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ today that her life be surrounded by things that are impossible, yes, impossible, for when the impossible shows up it is then that the miracles begin to be manifested in their lives. In the preicous name of Jesus, Amen.

Hang It On The Cross

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

For the third time since we moved into this house I have moved the contents of my writing, creating, and dreaming room into another area of the house. The reason being was to finish painting the walls and completing the redecorating and making it my own space. It is nearly finished, hooray.

This being Easter (Holy) Week - I found a bookmark and would like to share in my post today,

Hang It On The Cross by Lisa O. Engelhardt
If you have a secret sorrow, a burden or a loss, An aching need for healing... Hang It On The Cross
If worry steals your sleep and makes you turn and toss, If your heart is feeling heavy... Hang It On The Cross
Every obstacle to Faith or doubt you come across, every Prayer unanswered... Hang It On The Cross
For Christ has borne our brokenness and dearly paid the cost to turn our trials to triumph... Hanging On The Cross.

I pray that as you witness, once again, the significance of Jesus Christ hanging on the Cross that He alone is our Deliverer and our Savior. May this week be of the greatest significance in Your life and all other things pale in comparison to Him. In the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.

Abba Father, we lift our hands and bow our hearts in one accord and proclaim that Jesus Christ, your son, is our Savior. Thank You Abba Father for our very existence in You. Praise You Jesus for saving us and loving us and keeping us. Your Name is Precious.

Who Is This LORD - Exodus 34:6 and 7

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I have been traveling and returned last Wednesday. My husband and I decided that we really, really needed to spend some quality and quantity time with family and friends. The journey was so amazing!!! Each day was a new adventure for us getting to experience just how wonderful it is to be able to spend time together while driving and also to spend time with dear and precious ones. We are so thankful for this time.

My Bible reading today was Exodus 34. The two verses that jumped out to me were 6 and 7, "And the LORD passed by before him (Moses) and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation."

WOW, so who is this LORD? Yes, this is our LORD, our LORD God. Dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, this is our LORD God! Each day He fills with His tender mercies and each day we are to rejoice and be glad in it for He has made it.

Abba Father, thank You for this day, which You have filled with Your tender mercies and thank You that You are The LORD, The LORD God who is merciful and gracious, long-suffering and abundant in goodness and truth. Thank You for keeping Your mercy for thousands, and forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin. LORD God I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ today that she would seek to know thee more and more as The LORD, The LORD God. May she rejoice in this day and may Your Beauty shine forth in her life and she walks through this very precious day. In the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.
