Psalm 19:14 - On the Tip of My Tongue

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

The Lord placed me in the perfect job, being an extravert that I am. I get to meet and greet and talk and interact with so many people. I have learned over the years that this truly a gift from God. So many times there have been things "on the tip of my tongue" that I have almost said and so very thankful that it was not.

It is an everyday thing with me - from the moment the phone rings or someone enters the office I must be on full alert. I have learned over the years that it only takes a split second to offer up a prayer to guard my tongue.

These verses from Psalm keep me grounded,

Psalm 19:12-14

12) Who can discern his errors? Forgive my hidden faults. 13) Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then will I be blameless, innocent of great transgression. 14) May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight. O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Abba Father, Praise thee on High, Thank thee!!! Heavenly Father, I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ may you forgive her hidden faults, may you keep her also from willful sins, may they not rule over her. Oh Lord then she will be blameless and innocent of great transgression. May the words of her mouth and the meditation of her heart be pleasing in Your sight. May she proclaim that You O LORD are her Rock and her Redeemer. In the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.

Distractions - Having a Bad Hair Day

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I am in need of a haircut but I have been so busy to even find the time to schedule. So I keep trying to get the hairs out of my eyes so I can continue or attempt to finish what I am working on. Each time that I take the time to remove the hairs from my vision it takes me away from my task at hand. This is what I call a major bad hair day and how I see having a bad hair day as a distraction.

I have been having a lot of "bad hair days". I pray that this is not the case for you dear sister-in-Christ, but if it is --

Abba Father, Thank You for you know the number of hairs that we have on our head, and even though these very hairs can cause a distraction it is Your Spirit that will guide us. How differently our Sovereign LORD sees things. What I consider a distraction He has numbered each hair. Oh what a wonderful and glorious and mighty LORD we have. Praise to thee my LORD. I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that she would not be concerned about the distractions is life but remember that You know each of them intimately. In the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.

I Am Praying for You

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

How many times do we hear this from friends and family? Especially in times when we are hurting the most and need words of comfort and/or encouragement.

Today my prayer is a hymn from a hymnal, "Great Hymns of the Faith". Written by S. O'Malley Cliff, 1837-1910.

Lyrics

1. I have a Savior - He's pleading in glory, A dear, loving Savior, the earth-friends be few; And now He is watching in tenderness o'er me - But O that my Savior were your Savior too.

2. I have a Father- to me He has given A hope for eternity, blessed and true; And soon He will call me to meet Him in heaven- Bu O that He'd let me bring you with me too!

3. I have a robe-'tis resplendent in whiteness-Awaiting in glory my wonderful view; O when I receive it all shining in brightness, Dear friend, could I see you receiving one too!

4. When Christ has found you, tell others the story, That my loving Savior is your Savior too; Then pray that your Savior will bring to glory, And prayer will be answered-'twas answered for you!

Chorus
For you I am praying, Fory you I am praying,
For you I am praying, I'm praying for you.

I know that you and I have so many loved ones and we even have a few unlovable ones that the Lord places in our lives for He knows that only you have the heart to pray for this person.

Blessings for your week dear and precious sisters-in-Christ.

Writing Letters

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

One of the company's that I follow on Twitter named the month of February as National Letter Writing Month, I had not written a letter for some time so decided that it would be enjoyable. I have enough fountain pens and inks and papers. This morning I was reminded that my Wednesday morning prayers to all of you began with writing letters. In 2001 when we moved to the Big Island (Hawaii) from Montana I missed my Prayer Warriors so much that I started to write each one once a week. As the months and years passed the Lord placed more and more precious and dear sisters-in-Christ in my life. With the help of my daughter it went from letter writing to a webpage and then to a blog. My prayer warriors also expanded from 12 in the beginning to over 80. I hope to continue doing this for a very long time. God is so marvelous in His abundant love for us.

I was searching for a birthday card last night and in my big box of letters and envelopes and cards and stickers I found this - "Write your plans in pencil; then give God the eraser"

The month of February is also considered the month to share Love so this being the first Wednesday of the month of Love my prayer -

Abba Father,

Praise Thee and thank Thee for Your Word written down for Us. Your letters written to Us so intimate and so divine. I pray that each dear and precious sister-in-Christ would read your letters of Love and live their lives being deeply and fully and intimately and beautifully and dearly LOVED by You. May You be Glorified in their lives. In the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.
