Imagery

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I awoke early this morning after experiencing a horrific nightmare - my first thought was to try and walk it off. So outside I went to look at the predawn skies. The moon was positioned right overhead and several stars in the sky remained. Since I am dressed in my robe and wearing my night slippers I decided not to walk down the street very far instead I started to pull some weeds that had been left behind by my husband who had trimmed the yard the day before.

How do you remove an image from your mind?

If you have seen any commercials or infomercials which show local spots to visit while you are on vacation in Hawaii - the imagery is of sunny beaches and beautiful places to relax. Coming from Montana where looking at something that you think is close but in reality it is at least a 100 miles away, I had a totally different picture after moving here to Hawaii. If you watch closely to the scenes displayed on the tv screen you begin to see a cloud around the beach or the dining spot or the hotel they are advertising. That is because you can literally walk from one area to the other - sometimes it is only 20 feet away.

The most interesting thing about this is that when you do walk the 20 feet you seem to enter into another world completely. The scenery is different, the people on the beach are different, the sounds of the ocean and the voices of the people are different. What a difference 20 feet can make!

Dear and precious sisters-in-Christ just image what a difference 20 feet can make in your life. Just imagine!

Abba Father, Praise and Glory and Honor to thy Name, o Most Sovereign Lord, thank You that You promise never to leave nor to forsake. Lord we are made in Your image. Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that her imagery would be Jesus. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Inspirational Bookmarks and More

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I have several or maybe more than several bookmarks and I have them placed in various books and journals and even in current calendar which I am using for work. Some have scriptures, some have pictures, some have inspirational sayings and some have flowers. Most are store bought but a few are handmade by my children from when they were young and others from friends.

The one that I am looking at now has written on it a saying from Winston S. Churchill, "Success is not final, Failure is not fatal: It is the courage, To continue that counts."

Your life and mine are filled with days of success and days of failure in some form or another and as we take that success and that failure and come before the throne of Grace He alone will give us the courage to continue. For I know that in my own strength that my success would lead me into being prideful and my failure would lead me into doubts and unbelief. These areas where my focus is not on my LORD. I desire to have my life bookmarked by Jesus.

Abba Father,

Praise and Glory to thee alone - for as we walk through each day and face the successes and failures may our dependence on thee become deeper and richer. Oh Lord bookmark the days of my life with Your Presence, Your Peace, Your Provision and above all else Your Love. I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ today that she would lean not upon her own strength but come to You and have the courage to continue to live a life filled with You and Your alone. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Psalm 139: 13-16

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Let us come together this morning and praise Him and worship Him - vs 13)"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb." vs 15) For "my frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body." vs) 16 For "All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

Abba Father,

vs 14) "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." O most Sovereign Lord, How precious and dear are each one of your daughters. I pray that they would have a blessed week and that Your Peace and Purpose and Presence and Provision and Power would overflow into every area of their lives. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I opened my bible to begin this post and from the underlining of the passages and the sticky notes stuck to the page with dates listed, it is quite evident that the Lord has had me revisiting these two passages.

Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." (KJV)
Proverbs 3:6 "In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." (KJV)

Abba Father,

Coming before Your most Righteous and Sovereign and Holy Throne of Grace I humbly bow and ask that each dear and precious sister-in-Christ to TRUST in Thee with all their hearts and LEAN NOT unto their own understand. May they acknowledge Thee in all their ways and comprehend with their minds and hearts that You oh Most Sovereign LORD shall direct each step that they take. May the well worn paths of yesterday be replaced with the new paths that You desire they begin to walk on as they TRUST in You. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Praising HIM - Psalms 148, 149 and 150

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

The weather forecast for my Island (Big Island) of Hawaii the beginning of the week was very dismal. The possibility of 3 Category 4 Hurricanes coming our way. Since the first did not get us and now the second and third will probably follow the same path people are saying that it is Pele that saved or it was luck but for me I'm thanking the LORD for sparing us once again. In fact He displayed the proof this morning on my walk.

I usually do not walk on Wednesday mornings as I am posting, but the Lord told me to walk so out the door I went picking up my phone because I needed to make a couple calls to the mainland, as I walked out the door I looked up at the mountain to see the gorgeous and brillant pink clouds and looking out over the ocean the clouds were dark and ominous looking - continuing on my walk I reached the top of the hill and as I looked out over the ocean the most beautiful rainbow was being displayed. I stopped to take some pictures to capture the moment and continued on my walk with the rainbow still in the sky over the ocean - As I came inside my room to post it was still there. Yes, God's Promises!!!

Abba Father

Praise to thee and thank you for Your Promises may we bow our heads this day and read from Your precious WORD and begin to Praise thee. May each promise that has been spoken over and into the hearts of Your Precious sisters-in-Christ be displayed in the most awesome of ways and may each one sing praises unto thee. In Jesus Name, Amen.
