Psalm 103:1-5 Blessed Thanksgiving

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

"Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits; Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's."

I pray that your tomorrow day will be a blessed one. My husband and I will be fellowshipping with friends for which I am very grateful - this island life can be rather harsh at times for people come and go. I had a dear friend who told me once that she would rather not get to attached to people because they leave and it was to painful for her. I thought about that for quite a while and came to a decision that I would rather do the opposite.

Thank you dear and precious sisters-in-Christ for your friendship and support and love that you have given so freely. God divinely appointed that we would meet and for that with hands lifted high I will pray...

Abba Father, to you be all the glory and praise and honor. Thank you for Your benefits, thank you that you forgive all our iniquities, thank you that you heal all our diseases, thank you that you redeemed our lives from destruction, thank you that you crown us with loving kindness and tender mercies, thank you that you satisfy our mouths with good things and thank you that we are being renewed like the eagle's. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Solomon - The Lord Promised

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Reading in II Chronicles this morning where Solomon prays to the Lord and all that Solomon does after the conversation with Him. Chapter after chapter it says that Solomon made this and that happen, ordered this to be done and not done. It seems that the Lord is left out of the picture and all we read is that Solomon is doing these great things until you get to Chapter 6:10 "The LORD therefore hath performed his word that he hath spoken: for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and am set on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD God of Israel."

Dear sisters-in-Christ, God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Do Not Fear, Do Not Doubt, for it is the same for each one of you - "The Lord therefore hath performed his word that he hath spoken... as the LORD promised..." Your life lived and living and still to be lived is "performed by His word that he hath spoken...as the LORD promised..."

Abba Father, Praise and Glory and Honor to thee, I thank you oh Sovereign Lord for each day of my lived, my living, and my yet to be lived life. Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that Your Spirit will bring to remembrance the word that was spoken to her and remembrance of how You have performed it just as You promised. Holy Spirit, our comforter and our counselor come. In Jesus Name, Amen.

The Voice of Speech

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I have three fountains in various locations - one in my bedroom, another in my study room, and the third on the bottom shelf of the orchid stand located in the breezeway. Why? Because the sound of water comforts me. The town that I grew up in still has the main water source (Spring Creek) that flows through the town. At various times of my growing up years I lived close by this creek. When I was in my teens we moved to a place with much bigger water - the Pacific Ocean, where I spent many hours just sitting on the beach listening to the water. I'm sure that you have something that when you listen it brings you comfort. It might be a favorite style of music or the wind or even chimes.

I got the title for my post from Ezekiel 1:24, "And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings."

Interesting the way the words were written, first he recognized the noise of their wings and to describe this noise of great waters, and Ezekiel must have heard the voice of the Almighty many times to recognize the noise and then he identified it as being the "Voice of Speech". Oh dear sisters-in-Christ how awesome and magnificant is our Lord that His Voice fills the most neediest of hearts and souls and minds. It is this Voice that spoke all into existence and it is this Voice that holds all things together and will be coming back again soon. May you hear His Voice today.

Abba Father, Praise and Glory and Honor to thee, thank You for Your continuing LOVE which You so lavishly speak into our hearts. Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that she would listen to Your Voice because You are leaning Your body down from Heaven and calling out her name. "Come my daughter and I will speak to You of wonderous and mighty things." In Jesus Name, Amen.

Psalm 48:1 and Phil. 4:6 - Praise and Thanksgiving

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Thank you for praying for me last week, the pain subsided by the next day and after a visit to the chiropractor who made a slight adjustment I was on the mend. I'm still making sure that I don't over extend it and doing some mild exercises to alleviate the stiffness.

Thank you also to those who responded and offered a prayer and asked for a prayer also. Just know that your requests were offered up in prayer also and I hope that the Lord answered yours favorably.

Prayer - How amazing is our LORD that He taught us how to pray.

This week my desire is to come before the throne of Grace to offer praise and thanksgiving. Psalm 48:1 "Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised." and Phil. 4:6 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."

We all know these precious words of Truth but sometimes it seems that they are just little slivers of gold that we have to diligently seek but God wants to show you that praise and thanksgiving are hugh boulders of gold. This is our GOD. A BIGGER than all that you can ask or imagine. In our asking and seeking and knocking this week may we once again see who our LORD is and offer up praise and thanksgiving.

Abba Father, the Creator of all things, great and small, praise thee, oh praise thee with hands lifted high. Thank You oh most Sovereign Lord that our names are written in the Lamb's book of life. Thank you that You hear our prayers and supplications, thank you that as we come before Your throne of Grace you are drawing us into Your loving arms and wrapping us up in Your Love. A Love so divine. I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ this week that as she comes before Your heavenly Throne of Grace that she would linger just a little longer and enjoy Your Love. Lord I pray for Your Provision for those who are in tough financial problems, Lord I pray for Your Healing Power for those who are sick or in pain, Lord I pray for Your Peace for those who are anxious, Lord I pray for Your Purposes for those who are seeking direction, and Lord I pray for Your Presence to be with each one. In Jesus Name, Amen.
