Interweaving of God

Greetings dear sisters-in-Christ,

This past weekend God placed two more sisters-in-Christ into my life and how I do welcome how marvelously He interweaves each of us in amazing ways. As one departs and a longing for someone or something to fill the hole and when we cry out to Abba He brings another or maybe He Himself is enough to fill the hole.

I was also reminded this past week that distance has nothing to do with a relationship either.

How often the Lord will whisper (well maybe sometimes to get my attention it is LOUD) a name and I begin to pray for the person. Our most Sovereign Lord is Marvelous and Magnificent isn't He. May I be as Mary and say to my LORD, "Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word." Luke 1:38.

Heavenly Father, most Glorious and Gracious God. Thank you that it is by Your Grace that we are able to reach out each day and live and live victoriously. Thank you that Your tender mercies are new each day for this is all that we need to walk out the day. I come before You this day and ask that each dear sister-in-Christ come before thee with full assurance that each person she meets that You have interweaved that person or circumstance according to thy Word. In Jesus Name. Amen

Until next week,

Greetings to my dear sisters-in-Christ,

I have just now finished my third read of "The Pilgrim's Progress" by John Bunyan. It indeed is a book which really keeps you thinking about heavenly things and just how Spiritual Warfare must be like. I sometimes do not feel that I am running a race spiritually, I know that the Bible says that we are but my day to day activities doesn't seem like much of a race.

In the book, there is one part where "Christian", the main character in the first part is having a conversation with "Apollyon". Towards the end of the battle, Apollyon says, "I am an enemy to this Prince: I hate his person, his laws, and people: I am come out on purpose to withstand thee."

To which Christian says, "Apollyon , beware what you do, for I am in the King's highway, the way of holiness, therefore take heed to yourself."

Yes, dear sister's in Christ, we must remember that whatever comes against us that we can say with boldness, 'Beware what you do, for I am in the King's highway, the way of holiness, therefore take heed to yourself."

Heavenly Father, Abba, Our most Sovereign Lord, step by step you lead us. Lord we are all on Your highway, running the race, and it is truly the way of holiness and all and everything that hates You, Your laws and Your people must take heed. Lord I pray for each dear sister-in-Christ this day that when she encounters things that come against all that is Holy and True and Pure in her life that she would boldly proclaim that she is a woman of the most Sovereign Lord and she will travel only on the King's highway and the way of holiness and all else must take heed. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Until next week,

Your dear friend and sister-in-Christ,

Hitting the Wall-God's Hugs

Greetings to my sisters-in-Christ,

Events leading up to now - 1) part of the sermon from last week was running a race and hitting the wall 2) a conversation with some fellow believers last night and 3) an email from a dear sister-in-Christ received this morning.

We have, each one of us, at some time have had/are having/will have a Hitting the Wall experience - there have been many in my life. Some of them I have not even known that there was a wall to hit but there it was right in my path - knocked me down and knocked the wind completely out of me. In was in relating a story to my friends last night that God brought to remembrance.

I asked of my Heavenly Father-I just need a hug and who is going to give me one? My Abba Father replied, I will hug you and HE DID, His Hug was and is ENOUGH. When HE hugs me it is more than ENOUGH.

This is my prayer for each precious daughter of the living KING, Abba Father, come and HUG. I pray for Your HUGS which covers us with Your Grace, Protects us from the Harshness, Fills us up with Your Presence and Enables us to Rest completely. May each dear sister-in-Christ be embraced totally and walk in the Freedom that comes when she knows that she is LOVED more and more and more and more and more by You her Abba, Father. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Until next week,

A Reminder Day

Greetings, dear precious sisters-in-Christ,

March 3rd is an anniversary day, a reminder day, for me. The end of 2000 a decision had been made to move to Hawaii. Leaving all behind we (DH and me) flew to the island of Kauai. Supposedly our final destination. Well our most Gracious and Merciful God had other plans so off to the Big Island we did come. Our original plan was to stay for 5 years until our children had settled down a little in then we would decide where to settle permanently. It is now 2009. I'm thankful for my "reminder day" for I know that God is directing us and that my life and the lives of my loved ones are in His Loving hands.

Abba Father, thank You for reminder days, for they remind me that God ordained it and it was/is/will be so. How majestic are Your Whispers. Lord thank You for directing my life. Lord, I pray for each precious child-these sisters-in-Christ that they lay hold of Your Saving Grace, be bold in their witness, see the pure gold of your Foundation, how You have drawn the dross from their souls and have clothed them with the robe of Righteousness. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Until next week.
