What would you put in the Box?

Greetings to my dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

My sister-in-law has come to visit for a week and with her she brought a box from our daughter who lives close to her. She also brought us a box of gifts. Upon opening the box I knew that what was sent was chosen with great care and love. When my sis gave us her gifts she was so excited for us to open them because she knew what it contained and knew we would love and appreciate the gifts given.

So the question- what would you put in the box? I guess it would be a challenge - is there someone in your life that you are praying for and have been for many years. What would you put in the box?

Abba Father, thank you that each day you give us a box of tender mercies. You have chosen each tender mercy with great care and love and each tender mercy is just for ME. It is mine alone. Abba Father, I pray for each dear sister-in-Christ today that she see with spiritual eyes the tender mercies she is receiving for this day and begin to praise You and glorify Your Name. My Lord I pray for each precious woman that she "Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and for ever. Amen" II Peter 3:18 and also "Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.: Psalm 112:4.

What Brought You Here

Greetings to my dear friends and sisters-in-Christ.

There was a movie from a few years back and one of the lines the actor used was, "It's an island, if you did not bring it here it did not get here." So I live on an island and almost every time I meet someone new I ask them, "What brought you here?" (well actually I'm thinking to myself - what brought you to MY island). Each story is different and yet each is unique. I so love to hear the stories and each time I am AMAZED at the creativity of our GOD. What we think we brought our most Sovereign Lord takes that old me and brings me to HIS ISLAND. And what things are all ready here:

(I)ntimacy
(S)trength
(L)ove
(A)doration
(N)ew _____
(D)evotion

So for today, you may not live on an island but you live somewhere and in reflection it is probably the same. What brought you to this place and what was already here - The two are as far as the east is from the west.

Isn't our God Great!!

Abba Father, most Gracious and most Gentle Lord. Thank you for Your most Precious and Glorious Promises. Your Word of Truth which calms, cleanses and completes. Lord I pray for each dear sister-in-Christ that this day she would see with her eyes, hear with her ears, understand with her mind and perceive in her heart the things of God and know that You have already brought all that she will ever need to live for today and that this day is filled with ALL of YOU. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Baby Steps

Greetings precious sisters-in-Christ,

I find that as I take the baby steps of walking in Faith that sometimes just a little pebble is enough to cause me to falter. This journey that I am on today is most definitely a baby step day - I feel that I am being drawn to the flood waters and I must tip my toes into the water before the flood waters will recede. I have asked God to beckon me to come out of the boat and step into the waves which are lapping up over the small boat that I am in. Yes, Lord I am baby stepping out in Faith this day to Focus on the one who strengthens and sustains in my walk. May I not look back.

Abba Father, Praise thee, most Sovereign Lord. Thank You most Gracious and Faithful God, that in this day which You have made that You have filled it to the brim and to overflowing with Your tender mercies and with Your Love. As each dear and precious sister-in-Christ walks out this day Lord may You surround her with Your Presence for it is only when we are in Your Presence that we are able to see and understand and know that it is You and only You who Keeps. You and only You - the I AM. May Your Goodness and Purity abound richly in the lives of each and every sister-in-Christ. In Jesus Name, Amen.

TRUST

Greetings to all,

Once again in my walk with Jesus I have been presented with a situation that has caused me to TRUST even more. Can this be something that my most Sovereign LORD will (is able) to take care of? My choice is to TRUST even more. As I look at the letters - to me
T stands for Truly
R stands for Rely
U stands for Upon
S stands for Sovereign
T stands for Timing

As the 3 faced the furnace, 7 times hotter than ever
As the nation faced the Red Sea with the Pharoah's Army behind them
As David faced Goliath
As Jesus faced Gethsemene
As you and I faced ---------

You and I are able to fill in the space with testimonies of when delivered, or restored, or healed. And yes, I must once again TRUST in my GOD, LORD, FATHER, my ABBA.

"What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee." Psalm 56:3

Abba, Father, Praise You for You are Great and Glorious and Good, Praise thee for You are Sovereign and in all things and in all ways Your Word shall prevail. Words of Truth, Words of Counsel, Words of Comfort, Words of Strength, Words of Joy and Words of Love. May Your Word dwell deeper and deeper into our being that we shall know that absolutely nothing will separate us from Your Love. May each precious sister-in-Christ be strengthened today to TRUST in thee. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Until next week,

To all - I have a new signature flower-my dear friend and sister-in-Christ from Australia just sent this to me. Thank you Elise.
