Each Day Is Precious

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Each day is a precious day and if you consider it to be precious then... . I had a thought and wrote it down as the lead into this post. We had two wonderful visits this week. Monday we had some friends that we have known for 30 years and getting together was so hard due to distance between us and time issues. But in September they made the call asking if we were up for a visit and of course we said, "Yes, we'd love to see you guys." So finally after so many years of not seeing each other face to face what a happy and joyous occasion for the four of us. The next day my husband had a doctor's appointment in another city in the morning and we had enough time after the visit to stop by our son's house who lives not very far from here. It had been a few months since we had actually visited him at his house and he showed off all of the house renovations he had done and still finishing up. The visit was marvelous because we got to see all the things he has been working on and also he shared about what was going on in his life. Family and friends and the special bonds that are created. It was a time of fellowshipping! It was a time of sharing! Both visits were uplifting and encouraging because of the love that we have for each other and even when we do not understand some of the different situations or circumstances that occur in all our lives we still can be compassionate and also feel comfortable in talking about our lives' ups and downs. At the end of each visit there were hugs galore (we give hugs) and also it solidified our friendship even more. Let us pray - Abba Father, Creator and Sovereign LORD. We come before Your throne of Grace and humbly ask and in the asking we know that You hear our prayers and that You listen to our prayers. Lord, I pray for our families and our friends. May each dear and precious sister-in-Christ trust in Your faithfulness and lovingkindness and know that each day is precious, may her encounters and her visits and her interactions be pleasing in Your sight. Lord, bless each one with a joyous day. In Jesus Name, Amen. This is the day the Lord has made,
LyndiaSue
