Your Wait Time

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, I do pray that all your anticipation and expectations of the Thanksgiving holiday were more than you had imagined. Mine was! I am at a loss for words this morning. So many blessings and tender mercies have been extended over the last few months that each day is a day of waiting upon the Lord. And unlike the recording you get on the phone from the various offices there is not an expected wait time given just that I am the next caller in line. Sometimes they say that I am caller number ?, so I wait. One of my favorite verses relating to wait is found in Isaiah 64:4, "For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hathe the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him." (KJV) And unlike waiting for someone to come on the line to address your concerns God says that waiting for Him is far deeper. The depth of time and also the reward received for waiting is definitely a God thing. By that I mean He takes it back to the very beginning of the world (Genesis) and ALL that has happened still He has prepared. His timing is perfect, the wait time is something that He has told us that there will be something so totally different in your hearing and seeing. Dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, how long some of us have been waiting on the Lord and still we will wait for He is God and with God ALL things are possible (Matt 19:26). Let us pray - Abba Father, we thank You and praise You for You are our LORD who keeps us and sustains us and protects us and loves us. Lord, I ask that each dear and precious sister-in-Christ be strengthened today in her mind and trust that in the waiting You are there embracing her with Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus name, Amen. Waiting for Him,

Psalm 32:1, 2, and 8 - Blessed and Instructed by the LORD

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Today's readings are from the Psalms - Psalm 32: 1,2 and 8. Let us begin, "Blessed is he who transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not count against him and in who spirit is no deceit" and verse 8, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you." This is our GOD! How great and merciful and mighty that we have this assurance and what a comfort it is to walk through each day knowing that He has already blessed and instructed us. He is our LORD and as we fellowship together and join hearts may we individually and collectively praise Him . There are so many ups and downs and in between times in our lives that the mere mention of His name should bring a boldness and a quietness to our being. The angst in the down times, the laughter in the up times and the in between times where there may be confusion or doubt we still can be bold and courageous. My dear and precious sisters-in-Christ only He knows what is going on in each of our lives so may I join you at the feet of Jesus and lean upon Him. Abba Father, Glorious and Mighty. Thank you for Your Word written in the Psalms, that we are blessed for You have forgiven our transgressions and You have covered our sins and thank You for instructing and teaching us the way we should go. Thank You for Your counsel and Your watching over us. In Jesus Name, Amen. How Great is our LORD,

Dear Heavenly Father

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Several years back I had received some photos that I had requested from my daughter and along with the photos was a little booklet, "Dear Mom Thank You for Everything", by Bradley Trevor Greive. I opened the little booklet and she had written a little note explaining why she was sending. The note touched my heart so much and it has remained with me through my various moves and this morning it happened to catch my eye as I was seeking something to post about. It has various animal pictures with different captions under them, throughout the book the photos are so adorable and my favorite is the little lamb looking straight at me with the caption, "When you think about it, that isn't so surprising -- I will always be a part of you, because you created me". Yes, so touching to realize that our children are a part of us and more importantly for those who have longed to have a child of their own it is a reminder that we are little lambs. Each one of us was created by the Creator, the great I AM and each one of us is uniquely created in such a way that only the heavenly Father is able to teach us and to guide us and to direct us each day of our lives. We are also deeply and intimately known by Him as He longs for us to know Him even better than we know ourselves. As Thanksgiving time approaches and as many gather to enjoy family and friends may we come before His throne of Grace and begin to pray. Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for everything! May each day be a day of awakening to His Goodness, and asking for His provision and seeking to know him more and more and knocking at the doors and watch them being opened in the most amazing of ways. Dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, let us shout for Joy for He has made this day and filled it with His tender mercies and abundant grace. In Jesus' Name, Amen. Thank you for Everything,

Steps of Faith

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, This morning I find that I need a little more courage to tread the steps of Faith. In fact, crawling on my knees would be easier than taking baby steps. The blessed assurance of His promises seems to be gigantic steps of faith and if on my knees I am able to move farther along. I have the palms of my hands reaching for the next step as my knees are covering the last step I took. So opening my favorite bible, the one that is underlined and highlighted and written on and has sermon notes and sticky notes, the KJV, and turning to Joshua, Chapter 1, reading and dwelling on the whole chapter. Then continuing on to the Psalms. Chapters 17:1-8, 18:30, 20:5-6 and lastly Proverbs 3:5-12. Yes these verses, which I consider steps of Faith are exactly what I need to keep in step with the reality of my life. There are several more or even different ones that you, my dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, are drawn to in times of need and in times of want. As the struggles of life verses the peace that God gives and the hopelessness of life verses the Hope that God gives and the joys of life verses the Joy of the Lord seem to be dimmed as we walk through our days and become overwhelmed and weighed down let us join together today and come before the throne of God in prayer - Abba Father, our Creator, the Great I AM, who knows our most innermost thoughts, thank You and we Praise You with hands lifted high. Lord, I ask that each dear and precious sister-in-Christ, "be Still and know that you are God" and Trust that You will never let go of her hand. May she continually rejoice in this Truth. In Jesus Name, Amen. Resting on my knees,
