Lingering Effects

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Several years ago, a friend's coffee shop burned to the ground. In the aftermath of that tragedy we experienced the lingering effects of not only the fire itself but something more impactful. What comes after the fire! My friend asked neighbors and friends to help clean the land because she was a talented jeweler and much of her craft work was also burned. Silver and gold and precious gems and beads and crystals; the things jewelry makers acquire. I joined her one afternoon with shovel in hand, and went to the place where she had her jewelry counter where all her created pieces were encased to be sold. Digging deep under the surface we saw something shiny, removing the ashes and dirt fused together were pieces of beads and chains. My friend said that she would take it and make something special for me. I still have it and it is a reminder that there are lingering effects to tragedies and if we did deep we will find treasures that leave us with beauty and joy and memories of friendship and love. Abba Father, Glorious Lord, our most Sovereign Creator. Praise You and thank You that Your Presence lingers with us. Holy Spirit we aren't even aware of Your lingering over us but... Yes, but He is in our midst and the effects of His lingering are evident in our lives. The fruits are easy to witness in others and hopefully the effects of our lives upon others will leave lingering fruit in their lives too. I pray that, as you go about your daily routine or maybe something has come up in your life that is causing delays or maybe discomfort, the lingering effects will be so profound and awesome. In Jesus Name, Amen. Blessings for Lingering Effects,

Some Things Never Get Old

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, There are some things that never get old, honestly, for me it is - standing by the seashore or by a river or by a waterfall. You guessed it, water. Even watching how the swimming pool water reflects as the sun or the wind or the clouds or even when raindrops hit the surface. And the colors of water - clear or muddy or blackish or glacier aquamarine or the waterfalls rainbows as the sun is reflected on it. Yes, it never gets old. Whenever I am near water I am mesmerized by its beauty. I can't even fathom the beauty and the purity of the Lord. He is the Living Waters, even the voice is like rushing waters. How many times has He delivered - the parting of the Red Sea, the parting of the Jordan river, the woman at the well, the striking of the rock, and baptism. I'm sure that you also have had many different experiences with water and also in your life there are some things that never get old. Abba Father, at the beginning of the foundations Your Spirit was moving over the surface of the waters. Praise to thee O Lord. Thank You for sustaining us and purifying us and being the Living Water. The Living Water that is ALL we need, Jesus, yes, hallelujah for pouring Your Spirit into our lives. O LORD, I pray as each dear and precious sister-in-Christ thirsts that You would satisfy her every desire, every need, every want and every dream. Lord as she drinks, as she soaks, as she cleanses, as she lifts up her cup may it be filled to overflowing and may it be that very precious "some things that never get old" in her life. No matter where she is physically, mentally or spiritually may Your Living Water be like a fresh spring flowing into her very being. In Jesus Name, Amen. The Living Water Cascading Over Me,

John 6:37-40 - Fully Protected

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, I have a special program on my computer which runs every couple of weeks and cleans my computer. I don't know how it does it but I am thankful for the cleaning. My computer works so much faster and also I feel safe that anything that wanted to harm my computer was being thrown into the trash and now I am fully protected. In reading these three verses my faith in Jesus and my heart jumped for joy in knowing that I am indeed fully protected! Let us read together, "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day." Yes, we are fully protected!! Abba Father, Praise and Honor and Glory to You. LORD thank You that the moment we believe, the moment we say yes to Jesus, the moment we give our hearts to You that is the moment we are fully protected. LORD I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that she would trust in You in the moments when doubt or heartache or crisis or anything else that is temporal she would lean upon You even more knowing that You have sealed her with Your Spirit and there is nothing that can ever penetrate her because You she is fully protected. In Jesus Name, Amen. Living a Fully Protected Life,

The Month of May

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, The fifth day of the fifth month so... randomly searching scripture - the fifth book of the old testament, the fifth verse of the fifth chapter, "while I was standing between the LORD and you at that time, to declare to you the word of the LORD; for you were afraid because of the fire and did not go up the mountain. He said,". Then turning to the fifth book of the new testament, the fifth verse of the fifth chapter, "And as he heard these words, Ananias fell down and breathed his last; and great fear came over all who heard of it." As I looked at the date 05/05 this randomly searching scripture came into my mind. I have heard of this exercise but really have never thought of doing it myself until today in this posting. But these two randomly selected verses have two very important words to remember; the Word being declared and being heard. Yes the Word - JESUS is the Word as stated in John 1:1-3. We have a reason to celebrate every day of every month because of the Word - JESUS. Abba Father, let us come together and give You all the Glory and Praise and may we Bless the Word - Jesus - for He was in the beginning and He was with God and He was God. In Him was life and the life was the Light of men. Oh LORD, thank You for our salvation and our very being. Thank you for Loving us so much... and never forsaking us. Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that the Word would sink deeply into the depths of her heart and mind and soul. That she would be filled with Your Joy and Peace and Hope and Love and Power this day forward. In Jesus Name, Amen. Loving Him with Every Breath,
