First to the Garden then to the Cross

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, The last day of the month of March and having it fall on a Wednesday is very nice. Also it is two days before Good Friday and four days before Easter. Two very important events which are tragic in the beginning and amazing in the end. God knows and He cares! He led His only begotten Son to the Garden then to the Cross. He was with Him every footstep, every breath, every thought and every sweat drop that fell. And yes we can proclaim that it is/was/will be the same with us, His children of Faith, who believe in the Garden and in the Cross. For in the Garden of Gethsemane He began to pray, saying "Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done." (Luke 22:42) Yes, on His knees in the garden, then to the Cross, accepting the will of the Father. But let us read the verse after, (vs 43) Now an angel from heaven appeared to Him, strengthening Him." Our Heavenly Father always and again I say always is with us at every footstep, every breath, every thought and every sweat drop and tear drop that falls. And we as "faithful followers of Him who died on the Cross and went to the grave and rose on the third day are testimony of His Mercy and Grace. And will be until the day we die. Abba Father, Praise and Glory and Honor to Thee, our Heavenly Father, our Creator. Thank You Lord for our Salvation and our Sanctification. Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ this day that Your Holy Presence will embrace her every footstep, every breath, every thought and every sweat/tear drop that falls. Lord strengthen her when she is burdened, give her Your Peace in the midst of her storms, fill her cup to overflowing when it has been emptied, and renew her heart when grieved to leap for Joy. In Jesus Name, Amen. May Your Easter be richly Blessed,

A Prayer - Psalm 20:4

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Hopefully your week thus far has been pleasurable and adventurous and that your precious moments of your day and even your sleeping moments have been satisfying, this is what I am hoping for all of you. Yesterday's scripture reading was Psalm 20:4 and it spoke to my heart so I wrote next to it that this would be my prayer for Wednesday. For it is written, Psalm 20:4 - May He grant you your heart's desire and fulfill ALL your counsel(purpose)! In fact the whole Psalm of 20 is packed full of requests before the Lord, verse 4 was especially potent. No matter your age, circumstances, location, or where you are at spiritually in your walk with the Lord, there are specific times when we need to remember that The Lord, our Creator, takes delight in us, His children and that He alone is our heart's desire and our purpose in life. He creates in us a desire, a dream, an idea, and a passion to pursue. He creates in us a purpose which He created at the beginning of time and He will fulfill ALL of it. For our God is so BIG! Abba Father, Thank You that we can come before You each day and approach You and Ask and Seek and Knock and this day I am asking that You may grant these dear and precious sisters-in-Christ with All that their hearts desire and fulfill ALL their counsel (purpose)! In Jesus Name, Amen. A Heart Desiring BIG,

Leading Me to Green Pastures

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Let us visit Psalm 23:2 - It is written, "He makes me lie down in green pastures," yes, He makes me - that is what He must do in order for us to truly enjoy each breath that we take. If He didn't do that do you think you would do it on your own? Only when we are in a prone position and what better place to be - green, lush pastures. The green pastures are soft on the body, the grass has a moistness which the dry skin absorbs rehydrating it once again and as we lie down our body begins to relax and our breathing becomes deep and our mind becomes settled and we look up to the heavens. Maybe there are clouds to look at and maybe you begin to see shapes or figures. You notice the color of the sky and you quiet yourself for a few moments. He knew you needed to be there, that is why He had to make you do it. He loves you that much!! Just imagine as you lie down in green pastures to what extent He went to to show you His Love for you. And He is still doing it today! So... my dear and precious sisters-in-Christ allow Him today to, "make me lie down in green pastures." Abba Father, All Praise and Glory and Honor we give to You. Thank You Lord for Your Everlasting LOVE, for Your Peace which passes all understanding, for Your Tender Mercies new every morning, for Your Abundant Grace and for Your Unimaginable Joy. Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that today would be her day to "Lie down in green pastures", look up into the heavens and worship You. In Jesus Name, Amen. Looking Up,

Putting on the Protective Armour of God

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, We are told repeatedly in commercials and from skin specialists and dentists that it is important when you go outdoors to put on sunscreen and it needs to have at least SPF 50+, and as we age and our skin becomes less supple we need to apply moisturerzer during the day and night. Also to keep your teeth and mouth in good health to use special treatments too. Our bodies are being bombarded all the time with various unseen things and yes it will age because that is the process. We don't like it at times but it is a fact. It is the same with our walk with the Lord, we are constantly bombarded by the unseen and it can be more devasting to our spiritual walk if we deny this fact. In order for us to be prepared, Ephesians 6:10-18 (KSV) must be applied with liberality. It is written, "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that we may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. STAND therefore, having your loins girt about with TRUTH, and having on the BREASTPLATE of RIGHTEOUSNESS; And your FEET shod with the preparation of the gospel of PEACE; Above ALL, taking the SHIELD OF FAITH, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the firey darts of the wicked. And take the HELMET of SALVATION, and the SWORD of the SPIRIT, which is the word of God: PRAYING always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all preserverance and supplication for all saints;" As much time as we take to ensure our phyical bodies are protected from the harsh elements how much more time we need in order to take care of our spiritual bodies, my prayer for this week dear and precious sisters-in-Christ - Abba Father, Glorious Lord thank You for Your Word of Truth for us today that when applied in Faith we can be confident that You will constantly and lovingly and intimately shower us with Your Unfailing Grace and tender mercies enough for each day and gift us with unimaginable blessings that we are filled up to the brim with Your Joy and Peace and Hope. In Jesus Name, Amen. Putting the Armour of God on,

His Guiding Light

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Welcome to the month of March - springtime - when the days start to be a little longer and a little warmer. Some days you can wear your flannel lined hoodie or even a heavy sweater when venturing outside. Looking outside to gage what exactly to put on can be deceiving at times. The sun is shining brightly but when you open the door the cold wind is blowing and you realize that you will need to wear something warmer. Sometimes I am hesitant to go back in using the excuse that I will only be gone for a short time to end up being very chilly. So reprimanding myself I hope that I do not do it again. But I do! Do you sometimes do something that you regret and try to tell yourself to not let it happen again? How marvelous is our Lord that He knows our thoughts and our ways and when it comes to a big decision to make or a new direction to take He will guide and direct you. Yes, since I am most definitely directionally challenged I need to have a BIG light! How big is God's Light! Abba Father, Praise to Thee! Glorious Lord thank You that You are our guiding light. That when we are hesitant or lacking in wisdom and knowledge and to what to do all we need do is ask. Lord I pray as the days start to get and little longer and a little warmer that when we start our day that You faithfully guide our path with Your Light. Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that she would look not at the outside to gage her decisions but look to You in choosing. Lord may she allow You to guide her through her days. In Jesus Name, Amen. Seeing His Guiding Light,
