This is My Prayer - Jude 20-25

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Yesterday woke up to something totally unexpected, a ground blizzard - the weather man had reported high wind warning but instead... I called my mom to see how she was doing and as usual we talked about the snow falling and how we both didn't like it and then she responded, "well I guess we can't do anything about it, we can't stop it." Yes, mom you are very right! Can't stop the snow from falling, can't stop the rain from falling, can't stop so many things! But... wait - we have a Faithful God, a Righteous God, the Creator of ALL things, we have a Saviour, our Redeemer, The Word, the Light of the World, the Living Water, the Breath of Life, and we have the Holy Spirit who "moved upon the face of the waters" at creation, our Comforter and Teacher. The verse, 20 from Jude was in my devotional reading today so grabbing my favorite bible, (KJV) the one that is earmarked and written in and underlined in different colors, yes, that one - and after verse 25 was written, "10/6/09", Oh Lord vs. 20-25 my prayer -." So... let us pray - Abba Father we come before Your most sacred and righteous Throne today and pray, in earnest, as Jude has written, "Lord may we, Your beloved, by building up ourselves on our most Holy Faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, may we keep ourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference: and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. And NOW unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen." In the Name of Jesus, again I say Amen. This is my prayer,

2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Let us read together and as we read may each word be digested in our hearts and minds - "Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace, comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word." Take as much time as you need to digest each word spoken because it will take time to fully comprehend these words. We, those who believe, are so precious and dear that since the foundation of the world this is our position in Christ that He Himself along with the Father has loved us - and that would suffice for many, knowing that they are loved but wait there is more! And "given us eternal comfort" And "good hope by Grace." We have these already! These we have LOVE, eternal comfort, and good hope BY grace. And if that isn't enough to dwell on as you awake in the morning and begin your day just imagine that the work and word done and spoken that your hearts are strengthened and comfort is afforded. Abba Father, Praise and Glory and Honor to thee alone. We worship You and give thanks for Your Glorious Presence. Lord my prayer today is that each dear and precious sister-in-Christ would draw closer to Thee in these difficult days and times and since they have such a great and faithful Lord as Thee, Rejoice! Rejoice in her work and Rejoice in her word. In Jesus Name, Amen. Rejoice in the Knowing,
LyndiaSue

Imagine Your Story

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Almost all of you I have met face-to-face, and a couple of you only through other people and one case through her writings and artwork. In searching for something to post this morning my attention was drawn to a bookmarker that I got from our local library, there are different animal characters on it but my thoughts, when I read the three words, were of you. Yes you, my dear and precious sisters-in-Christ whom I communicate with each Wednesday morning. Just imagine your story, for we have one together. For those I have met face-to-face, your story so touched me and encouraged me and without you even knowing it at the time, inspired me. For the couple of you who are still receiving these because a friend thought that you would like it, your story to her meant something so special. For the one who I have yet to meet in person, in the imaging of your story you have deepened my faith and my walk with the Lord. ALL of you, my dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, in the imaging of your story is the end of our journey together worshipping our Lord and Savior? Your story is so important I pray that as you imagine your story that you would be still and know that the Creator, the I AM, has already seen it and planned and purposed it so go ahead and imagine your story in vivid, brilliant, luminous, and fabulous colors and shapes and designs. Abba Father, thank You for creating each dear and precious sister-in-Christ. We lift up our hands in praise to Thee. Lord, I ask that each dear and precious sister-in-Christ "imagine her story", the story that You have already planned and purposed for her life. Aww, how sweet and adventurous and gentle and hilarious and at the same time directed by You. May each one come before the Throne of Grace and begin to imagine her story. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen Blessings my dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,
LyndiaSue,

The Welcoming of Silence

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Silence can be a welcoming time or a troubling time. I have experienced both of them and in two instances the combination of welcoming and troubling were mixed together. My choice is to be in a place where the silence is very welcoming. By that I mean, there is a warmth that flows through the mind which settles the heart and a feeling of Joy flows through the whole body. These days it seems to take a great effort on my part to try and find the time and/or the place to settle my mind. I had thought when I was younger and raising a family that when I got older and had less responsibilities that my time would be more at rest. Well all of you can probably relate to just how that worked out. Every season has its own troubles so now I am in a place where I purposely choose to welcome silence. In Romans 8:26-27, "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will." Yes, there is a silence in prayer - when you have succumbed to the pressures of everyday life or when unexpected interruptions have caused chaos and you cry out to the Lord. In that moment, wait for the silence to come! It is in that silence that the "Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express." Abba Father, Praise to Thee, we come before You this day and worship You. O Lord, I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that she would come before the Throne of Grace and in her asking and seeking and knocking that she would welcome the Silence of Your Spirit and allow the Spirit to intercede for her. May the welcoming of Your Silence fill her up with the Joy of the Lord enabling her to be renewed and refreshed. In Jesus Name, Amen. Blessings my dear and precious sister-in-Christ,
