Limited Selection of Fruits

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

One of the things that I do miss living in a rural community in the central part of the state of Montana is finding a wide varity of fruits, especially during the winter months. I have started shopping in the frozen aisle.

My preferences are strawberries and raspberries and sometimes mangos. Thank goodness for the frozen aisle.

Is there a frozen section in the Kingdom of God?

Galatians 5:22-23, "But the FRUIT of the SPIRIT is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."

Yes, we have the FRUIT of the SPIRIT living in us. Do you sometimes have a hard time finding the fruit you prefer?

Abba Father, how great thou art!! Thank You that we have the Spirit of God living in us and that we have ALL these fruits available ALL the time. Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that as she walks through each day of her life that she would partake of the fruit(s) of Your Spirit and continue to ask and seek and knock in her relationship with you. May you draw her near to Thee and reveal just how high and how deep and how wide and how long is Your Love for her. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Craving fruit(s),

Untying the Knots - 1 Thessalonians 5:8

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I had been working on a project a few months ago that required I tie knots in yarn to secure it is place. This morning I had to untie the knots. It took some time but I was able to do it. How about you? Have you had to untie or undo something? It was made for a purpose at the time but no longer needed. Are there times in your lives when what was done for a purpose at one time needed to be undone?

I didn't remember that it needed that much effort to make it but in the undoing it took time.

Verse 1 Thessalonians 5:8 caught my attention; it states, "But since we are of "the day", let us be sober; having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation."

Yes I do believe that we all are "of the day" and when we do have to untie something no longer needed what remains is these simple Truths - be sober, put on the breastplate of faith and love, and most assuredly to be keeping the "mind of Christ", have as a helmet, the hope of salvation.

Abba Father, How great thou art. LORD that You alone know our days and our lives so intimately. Lord may each dear and precious sister-in-Christ draw near to thee this day and all the days and may it be their hearts desire to know Thee more and more with each new day. May they depend upon You when they have days of having to untie the knots and may they depend upon You when they need to tie knots. Lord shower them with Your Love and Peace and Joy and Hope. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Blessings,

Psalm 66:4

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Random selection, don't always recommend it for delving into the Word, but today I decided to randomly select a verse. The first verse that popped into my head was Psalm 64:4 but after reading it I thought again and Psalm 66:4 popped into my head.

Psalm 66:4, "All the earth will worship You, And will sing praises to You; They will sing praises to Your name.

How is it that the psalmist could boldly proclaim that ALL the earth will worship...? How is it even possible? My mind has a hard time grasping such a bold proclamation!

BUT... just because my mind has a hard time doesn't change the TRUTH. So, dear and precious sisters-in-Christ since All the earth will worship, let us today be a part of the ALL. Yes, you and me join in today and worship the great I AM.

The verse continues with "and will sing praises..."

Definition of sing - make musical sounds with the voice, especially words with a set tune; perform with the voice.

Abba Father, how Great Thou art. Thank You Lord that You alone are worthy of Praises, may we come before Your throne of Grace today and worship You. Lord God I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that her day be filled with reasons to give You praises, be filled with no reasons to give You praises. May her day be filled... . In Jesus Name, Amen.

Blessings,

Psalm 119:105

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Psalm 119:105
Thy Word is a Lamp unto my feet and a Light unto my Path.

You have been invited to go for a hike with a friend and are a little hesitant because the hiking trails are unfamliar to you. You accept the invitation because your friend is trustworthy and knowledgable of the area.

As you drive to the site you and your friend begin to talk about favorite passages, hers is Psalm 119:105.

She explains herself, "When I am walking the trails, sometimes I need some guidance and a little more light to shine on my path."

Is that your walk with the Lord? In walking with Him, do you need a little more light to shine on your path?

How about your lamp? ("His Word")

I do! Most definitely! And what "Words" are a lamp unto your (my) feet?

Abba Father, Praise and Glory and Honor to Thee. Lord thank You that it is "Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path". Lord thank you that Your Holy Spirit is the one who guides us and counsels us and interprets our groaning. Lord I pray that each dear and precious sister-in-Christ would take hold of Thy Word which is a lamp unto her fee and a light unto her (my path) and walk boldly into her life today. Enjoying all that You plan, purpose, provide and allow and give You all the Glory. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Blessings,
