Psalm 23:3 and Isaiah 40:31

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

My car needed to be serviced so we took a trip to the big city, which was 126 miles one-way. We have had to take the drive a few times being back in Montana and in some areas of the drive it is boring and rather depressing. And why is because one of the areas is always dry and lifeless and in another area is scarred with a devastating fire which destroyed parts of the beautiful forest.

We have had major rains this year which has brought flooding to some areas but what it did to these areas was a covering of lushness. Yes, the understory of the destroyed forest was alive and the desert area was an oasis. The drive was enjoyable and very pleasant. We even had a special treat seeing young eaglets soaring.

The verse that was in my devotional this morning, Psalm 23:3, He refreshes my soul, came to life for me as I remembered the drive from yesterday.

Yes, His Living Waters brings a lushness to the dry and lifeless areas of our lives and heals our scars and makes our lives more enjoyable and pleasant. He also causes us to soar as eagles when we wait upon Him.

Abba Father, Praise and Glory and Honor to thee, our Glorious Father. Thank you that You restore our souls and that Your promises are true. Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that she would embrace Your Promises and allow herself to let You restore her soul and also wait upon You and when she does she will gain new strength; she will mount up with wings like eagles, she will run and not get tired and she will walk and not become weary. In the Precious Name of Jesus, the Name above all names, Amen.

Blessings,

My Day Happenings

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I'm a little late today - this is how it went - This is the first nice and sunny day we have had in the last 5 days so 7:30 off to the pool for my lap swimming, a much needed exercise for me. Then home by 9:15 and into the shower because at 10:00 there was the military honors ceremony for a fallen veteran, Frank Hanzel, who passed away at the age of 90 and was a very prominent man in this town. At 10:30 went to coffee with my cousin who also attended the services then home for breakfast. My husband started to mow the lawn so I started to trim the weeds. Needed to that because it is supposed to be stormy AGAIN for the next few days. Now it was 2:30 and thinking I could rest, OOPS, went shopping so am home now and realized that I really want to get this email prayer posted today.

It was a strange mixture of a day to say the least, just tryng to get in my two cups of tea was challenging. I'm working on the second cup now.

I know that it is the same with all of you dear and preicous sisters-in-Christ, each day of our lives are packed with the usual and the unusual, the planned and the unplanned, the expected and the unexpected; all of the moments of the day! That is what is exciting about our lives, we have no idea what and that is the mystery of our LORD. We do know one thing for sure. And that is that HE is forever faithful and He changes NOT.

Taking hold of that I do relish in my days. I hope for the same for all of you.

Abba Father, our most Sovereign LORD, the One who is and who was and who is to come. Praise to thee. LORD I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that her moments in her day are filled to the brim with Your most tenderest of mercies, Your sweetest Grace, Your Amazing LOVE and Your Awesome Glory. In the Precious Name of Jesus, the Name above all names, Amen.

Loving My Day,

Yellow Wild Rose Blooming

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Before I began my posting I looked out my study window and was captured by the beauty of the yellow wild rose blooming on the left street-side of my property. Because our street in the main street leading to the high school and the park and the end of town it gets alot of traffic and it is always cleared of snow in the winter. This winter was brutal and most of my property that faced the street had 6 ft drifts after each plowing. We had A LOT of snow this year!

This past Monday we (DH and I) went to the nurseries and looked at some rose bushes to plant around our yard and yes they were very beautiful and colorful and fragrant but paled in comparison to the wild rose growing along the road.

I had a thought... how beautiful are the blooms, how rich is the color, how fragrant is the scent of the yellow wild rose. It has been covered by ice and snow, smothered by rocks and debris, coated by dust and dirt for most of the winter but come spring with a little bit of pruning and removing of rocks and debris the tender shoots exposed to the rain and the sun. God's gardening -- pruning, removing, watering, and light.

The result -- jaw dropping, eye opening, taking a deep breath, and beauty beyond words. Yes, God's gardening is so much more than we can ever imagine or think or dream or plan.

Abba Father, Thank you for doing all the gardening of and in and through my life. Praise to thee most Glorious and Magnificent LORD. I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ today that she be pliable in Your Loving Grace and allow You to prune, remove, water and light her life in the most amazing of ways. May she bloom ever so beautifully and may the beauty and the fragrance of the LORD be a testimony to Your Faithfulness and Love and Peace in her life as she daily walks with You. In the Precious Name of Jesus, the Name Above ALL names, Amen.

Blessings,

A Way of Keeping in Touch

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

There are so many ways of keeping in touch with each other and like you I do all those things. Calling and/or texting on the phone; liking or sharing something on social media; sending a note or card to someone. Yes, keeping in touch with friends and family and even a special someone who touched your heart that one time, are so important in keeping in touch.

The only way of keeping in touch with our Lord is PRAYER. I treat this privlege much too lightly. I was reading in Revelation 5:8 the other day, this verse reads, "When He had taken the book, the four living creatures ... and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.", the impact of this verse overwhelmed me!

The importance of prayer!!

I'm so grateful and thankful that we are so deeply loved and intimately known by the great I AM. He is always finding ways of keeping in touch with us and isn't that marvelous and magnificent.

Abba Father, Praise thee and thank thee that You are our God who loves us and talks with us and sings a song over us and touches us and anoints us and treasures us and touches us. Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that today she would give to and receive from You your special way of keeping in touch with You and that this would expand out into all the areas of her life and she would be bold and courageous in finding ways of keeping in touch, which would bless her and bless others in the most amazing of ways. Your ways oh Lord. In the Precious Name of Jesus, the Name above all names, Amen.

Keeping In Touch,
