Matthew 9:22

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I pray that your days of summer will be fruitful.

For it is written, "Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," he said, "your faith has healed you." And the woman was healed from that moment.(Matthew 9:22)". Once again, I pray that your days of summer will be fruitful.

Our lime tree has so much fruit on it that the branches are hanging over - that is the kind of fruitfulness that I am praying.

Yes, may Jesus turn and see you and may you hear his spoken word to you, "take heart, daughter - your faith has healed you." And may you be healed from that moment.

Fruitfulness which results in a display of a peace which passes all understanding, a joy that is an oil of gladness instead of mourning (Isa. 61:3), a hope that ignites boldness(2 Cor.3:12) in your speech and a love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God (Eph.3:19)

You Look So Good In Love -Psalm 63:3-5

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

There are two radio stations that I am able to listen to at work, one is called "Whisperings, Solo Piano", this plays worship and classical music. The other is our local station, KAPA, depending on my mood, I will choose one or the other to begin my day.

Lately KAPA has been playing a song, "You Look So Good In Love", as soon as this song begins to play I and my coworker begin to hum along. In fact this is the song that was playing in my head as I walked around my yard asking God what I should "talk story" with you all this morning. The song talks about a lost love and how she walks into his life again and right away he knows that anyone can see that she is in love because of the special glow and the brightness in her eyes.

Even though the song is written about a lost love, to me it is how I want to be seen by others who do not know Christ. I want to look so good in love because I have the Love of the Lord - how do I know, for the bible tells me so. For it is written, "I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you."(NIV)

Abba Father, praise thee for it is Your Love that captures the hearts, heals the hurting, comforts the grieving, and brings peace beyond understanding. I pray for each dear sister-in-Christ today and ask for Your Love to be poured upon them with such power that when they walk through there day and encounter all the things that You have planned and purposed for them that all will say that she looks so good in Love and desire to have what she has. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Psalm 85: 10-13 - Memories Worth Keeping

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

My middle brother, Michael, was always a trouble maker. No matter what he tried to accomplish in life it seemed to always come down to how bad do you really want to have this because it is going to be a battle. Being the older sister, of 4 boys, this is what I remember most about him. He had a charm about him and yet why was it that he had to face each situation in his life this way. He was the only one who really understood me and loved me even through all my flaws, which I could hide from everyone else but not him. Even as I sat at his side as he was dying and wanted so desparately to hold his hand his refusal was his way of saying, "I know that this will be to difficult for you sis,".

His passion was fishing and so is mine, in our childhood years he was the only one who would allow me to sit along the bank and fish with him, patiently baiting my hook for I hated putting the grubs or worms on the hook.

When he was diagnosed with multiple cancers and had only months to live the Lord so graciously granted out request to spend some time together fishing side by side.

There is a very special bridge that I liked to fish from and as we sat in the Denver airport we made a bet to see who could catch the biggest, the most and the first fish off of the bridge. When we arrived at our folks house and realized that this was the year for record flooding and fishing from the bridge was not going to be possible, I was so upset, but my brother took it all in stride and said, "There are lots of places to fish, we will just have to wait until another time to fish from the bridge." That never happened.

I keep a photo of that bridge, sagging from the flooded waters and remember my brother. It is not a memory of something that did not happen, but a memory of how special was our time spent the month of May fishing side by side.

These verses spoke to me this morning - "Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven. The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest. Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps."

Abba Father, thank you for memories worth keeping, thank you that it is Your love and faithfulness that meet together and that righteousness and peace kiss each other. O LORD that indeed it is faithfulness which springs forth from the earth and it is righteousness which looks down from heaven. Praise thee oh Lord that it You will indeed give what is GOOD and our land will yield its harvest. Praise thee that righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps. Today Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that this may be evident in their lives as they walk through the day that you have planned and purposed for them. In Jesus Name, Amen.

In Love With JESUS

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I am so in love with Him - from the first time that I heard His Voice and felt His Presence at the age of 4 until this very moment I am so in love with JESUS. You may ask how is it possible for a little girl at the age of four to recognize His Voice and to feel His Presence and I would say honestly I can not tell you how I knew then I can only tell you that from that day until this very moment it is the truth.

When I am going through my rebellious times and try to cover my ears so that I can not hear - He speaks into my heart and takes my frailing arms and places them at my side and wraps me into His loving arms and tells me to "Be Still and Know that He is God."

When I am going through my directionally challenged times He tells me that He is directing my ways and that He (thy Word) is a lamp unto my (thy) feet and a light unto my (thy) path.

When I went through the time of sitting at the bedside of a dear friend and a dear brother, both of them knowing Him intimately, while they were dying His Voice was a comfort and His Presence was of such pure and holy Peace that I did not have grief in the passing of them I only had a feeling of celebration in knowing they were in the Presence of Him rejoicing.

When I am going through a period of waiting He speaks, "For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waitheth for him."

Yes, dear sisters-in-Christ His Voice is the Sweetest Sound and His Heavenly Hugs (Presence) is indescribable - I am so in love with JESUS.

Abba Father, Praise and Glory and Honor to thee, Lord my prayer for these precious sisters-in-Christ is that they would cry unto thee and ask what You have written, "Teach me thy way, O LORD, (Psalm 84:11) and open their ears and hearts to hear Your Voice and seek to be in Your Presence and Be Still and Know that You are God and wait upon thee for when they are going through the times in their lives. In Jesus Name, Amen.
