A Follower or A Leader

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I pray that your week of God's Presence in your lives was so amazing that you were rendered speechless at His most awesome Grace and abounding Love. And if this scenerio doesn't seem to be the week that you had well ...

2 Peter 1:3-4

His power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.

So which is it going to be? Do I live a defeated life following the whims of man or do I walk boldly into my day as a leader knowing that it is His Power?

Dear and Precious sisters-in-Christ, I pray that your day, this day and every day to follow until the Lord returns would be the day you would follow Him with all your heart and soul and mind and then lead a life which testifies of His Great and Mighty Promises.

Abba Father,I pray for Your divine protection over every dear and precious sister-in-Christ as she chooses to be a follower of Jesus. Lord equip her today to be a leader of her family, friends, co-workers, and community as she boldly proclaims that Jesus is the way the truth and the life. In Jesus Name, Amen.

A Follower of Jesus,

24 Hours - Psalm 118:24

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Here I sit at my computer, it is early morning, the birds are just beginning their morning songs and the morning breeze has yet to come. I am looking out my window and the shadows of java finches landing on the palm fronds is a wake up call to me that the morning is beginning. I am just now starting my morning and for most of you the day is already past the noon hour or fast approaching. A day - something we all take for granted - I know I do. I go to sleep knowing that I will wake up the next morning and start again. Twenty four hours and counting.

My days are beginning to get back to normal. My husband is recovering well and I am back at work. Six weeks seems like a long time but when I take it one day at a time and TRUST in the One who made the day, I am able to look back and say, Thank You Lord.

It is written, This day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24)

I know not what will happen, I know not how it will end, but I do know that You have made this day. And in order for me to live this life in abundance I must rejoice and be glad in it.

Abba Father, Praise thee for this day. Thank You that this is a day that You have planned and purposed. Lord I pray for Your abundant and rich blessings to be poured into the hearts of these very precious and dear sisters-in-Christ today. Lord many of them are anxious - may Your Peace quiet them, many of them are hurting - may Your healing balm soothe them, many of them are tired and weary - may Your Presence surround them, and many of them are in need - may Your Provision overflow. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Living This Day,

Psalm 18

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I'm back!! I do apologize that I have not posted for a couple of weeks, life here is beginning to get back to normal. My husband is recovering very well and just yesterday he was out in his garage cleaning it up a little. He couldn't do to much but just the idea that he is ready to go out into his garage is wonderful. I'm so thankful to so many people for all your prayers - your words of encouragement and your most precious deeds done for both of us. My husband and I are eternally grateful for your friendship and love.

The title of my post is Psalm 18, how that came about was a couple of weeks ago I had a dream about one of my children. And in this dream I noticed that an open bible was in a pair of hands. I recognized the set of hands and looked up to see if I was correct and then asked, what are you ready, my child said, Psalm 18. I heard Psalm 18 so clearly that it seemed to be God actually doing the talking. I would encourage you this week to please read Psalm 18 and even reread these precious nuggets of truth.

Abba Father, oh most Sovereign Lord, how great thou art. How amazing is Your most merciful Grace which abounds so mightily and powerfully.
Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that as she seeks Your face that You may be found in the most amazing of ways. Lord encompass around her and her loved ones. In Jesus Name, Amen

Psalm 18:1, I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.

Your friend and sister-in-Christ
