Your Grace is Sufficient

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Once again we are coming together to fellowship. How sweet is the time. I enjoy our sweet times together and hope that as you read this post you also will be able to quiet your mind and enjoy also. God knows when you will read this and all the things that are going on in your life at this very moment. For some of you the temptations are unsurmountable, for some the day is filled with pain, for some the circumstances of life have left you doubting and lacking. God knows and in His knowing He has already provided HIS GRACE. And as Paul the Apostle penned, "Your Grace is Sufficient".

Abba Father, Hallelujah and Amen to Your Faithfulness. Your steadfast Love and Tender Mercies. I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ today that she would seek Your fellowship. Oh Lord, in times of stress or in times of glee it is far better to seek thee. I also ask that each one be blessed richly today with your sweet Peace enabling them to continue walking by Faith. In Jesus Name. Amen.

His Grace is Sufficient,

His Pure Delight

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

On Sunday I got the opportunity to once again see things through the eyes of someone who is experiencing something for the very first time. The things that I take for granted and some of them I have not done in a long time. It reminded me of how often I just go through the routine of doing something not realizing that it is a privilege to be able to do. My brother is visiting from California and he has been told that all of his cancer has returned so life for him is becoming more and more precious. There are things that he desires to do and one of them was snorkeling. So Sunday morning we suited up and took him to our favorite place to snorkel. We call it two step. We were out about 45 minutes and when we came in, oh how I wish the expression on his face could have been captured on film. It was one of pure delight!!

He is a new believer also and it is the same expression when he talks about Jesus.

Abba Father, oh most Sovereign Lord, thank You that it is You alone who fills us with such delight. Praise You for Your Amazing Tender Mercies which are deep and wide and so abundant that our cup runneth over. Lord I pray for each precious sister-in-Christ today that she would be filled with such pure delight because she is Your precious child that all You have planned and purposed in her life she can TRUST that it will be accomplished. In Jesus Name, Amen.

As a post script - I would like to say that I am praying also for a speedy recovery for Zac.

Enjoying His Pure Delight,

Changes

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

The starting of this year is completely different from the past 11 years. And for a person who most definitely has a problem with change, it is becoming quite challenging.

In fact I haven't had to encounter these many changes at once since we decided to leave our home life in Montana and move even farther west to Hawaii.

This morning I'm enjoying the one thing that has remained the same, being able to sit quietly in my study room at my computer, place my fingers upon the keyboard and begin to type. I feel as if God has personally invited us all together for a time of communion with Him. How beautiful and sweet it is to come before our Heavenly Father. As we sit together this day may we enjoy all the changes in our lives because we know that He has planned and purposed it to be so.

Abba Father, Praise the name of Jesus, oh most Sovereign Lord, that You have blessed this day with all of Your Tender Mercies, Your Goodness, Your Kindness, Your Gentleness. Praise thee that we need not look at the changes in our lives but at the One who never changes. May each dear sister-in-Christ look not at the swift currents or turbulent seas but look directly into the eyes of the One who speaks and it is so. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

2012, a new year, a leap year, a year of possibilities, a year of...
Yes, the comments that you receive and give at the start of a new year are so varied...

It is day 4 of 2012, the first Wednesday and God has once again blessed me by connecting with all of you via technology.

Each year I start off with two things:

The first being the opening of the pages to a special book that I have been receiving since 2004, "Diary for a Lady" by Elise Grey. I do not open until the first of January. It is so amazing to me that year after year it seems to be the theme of my year.

The second is a devotional by Anne Graham Lotz, "Daily Light", I begin at the beginning and every night I read the morning and evening scripture verses.

In my quiet time with the Lord these are the only two traditional things that I will be doing. He is directing all the other days of my life in 2012.

Abba Father, step by step with thee of most precious LORD, each day a new day filled with Your Presence. Praise thee. Oh Lord, I pray for each dear sister-in-Christ that this year be anointed, blessed, enriched, by Your Presence. In Jesus Name, Amen
