You Speak and "It" Is

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Some years back I had blogged that I am the older and only sister of 4 younger brothers. Growing up we seemed to be a force to be reckoned with in our family and in the neighborhood. And as our dad who was the elder of his clan of 8 brothers and sisters it seemed that we were considered the ones who were revered. Me being the oldest played the role of protector - yeah right!! We have all grown up so you would think that it no longer would be the case. Yesterday I found out otherwise. My brother, the middle child, has encountered a situation and just like when we were kids he knows that if he can talk to his older sister that it will all be better. As I heard the pain in his voice and heart we began to pray to my Abba Father. I asked Him for the impossible and know that He is a God who is Good. My brother and I once again shared our love for each other and in my praying he knew that his sister has a God who hears and answers.

Abba Father, how glorious, how wonderful is your unfailing love. Thank you that there is nothing that will separate us from Your Love, oh most Sovereign Lord our Faith is more precious than gold. Lord, Lord, that You are a God who has ordained our days from the foundation of time, I bow down to thee. Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that in the living of this day she abide in the knowledge and understanding that You are the One who speaks and "it" is. Oh, Lord, whatever their "it" is with You all things are possible. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

God's Favor Be Upon Thee,

Let Us Proclaim

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

In the salutation, I say "greetings", this I can do. I call you "dear and precious", I genuinely know from scripture that you are precious but when is comes to sisters-in-Christ, I am a little stymied. I have never had a earthly sister and for those of you who do you know that special bond that is only between sisters. God must reveal that bond to me for I have no example other than what He chooses to reveal. I am able because we are "in-Christ." The love that I have for Christ is the special bond so whether we choose to or not we are sisters-in-Christ because God has chosen us and when He chooses it is for all eternity. I have been blessed with so many sisters-in-Christ and our Abba Father continues to bless. I want to thank all my sisters-in-Christ through all the years for your most dear and precious encouragement and love and understanding. May our lives continually be blessed by each other.

Abba Father, You are Sovereign and You are Supreme, thank you for fellowship so rich and pure. I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ today that she continually and abundantly bring all before the throne of Grace and boldly proclaim that our God is Wonderful and Amazing and Beautiful and too Marvelous for Words. That we join in one voice and shout, "You are Holy oh Lord." Our desire is to know thee oh Abba and to know Your Son, our Saviour, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. Lord, I also pray for Your peace and joy and hope to abide in the hearts and minds and bodies of these precious ones. In Jesus Name, Amen

Capture my Heart

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

It hardly seems only a week since I last wrote to all of you for in that time frame of just 7 days there has been much packed into every minute of every day. How about you? I have started to read the book of Esther once again and finding that each verse that I read captures my heart. The scene is set and the events are going to be played out for I have read it so many times and I know who wins! But this time I am stopping at each verse and allowing God to capture my heart. For He is holy and righteous and more glorious that we can and will ever imagine.

Abba Father, oh most Holy and Righteous One, the one who Spoke, oh Lord I pray for each dear sister-in-Christ that You would speak and that she would allow her heart to be captured by Thee. Holy Spirit E Komo Mai (come enter in) today in the lives of these precious sisters-in-Christ. May each heartbeat resound with Your praises and Your Kindness and Your Goodness. Each heartbeat growing stronger and stronger reaching to the Heart of the Father. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Capture my Heart,
