7 Key Words

Greetings my dearest and precious sisters-in-Christ,

One of my 4 brothers is spending some time with my parents in Montana and has sent me a picture from his phone to mine. The picture is of a little town in Montana called Forest Grove. My brother just does these little things - simple little things that reminds me that God is Good and Faithful. A picture on my phone of a little town in Montana took me back to a time of rememberance.

Which got me to thinking - it is Wednesday morning and Lord as I prepare - what is it You would have me pray about today.

Heavenly Father, before Your Throne of Grace I come and ask for myself and for these dear sisters-in-Christ, thanking You and giving You all my praise and worship.

Saturday and Sunday

Greetings to my dear sisters-in-Christ,

Saturday's retreat was a mountain top experience. A much needed one for me as Sunday morning started with what could have been a very dark and nerve racking experience if not for the Peace of God and His Glorious Protection.

Heavenly Father, our Creator and Sovereign God, You have walked the ocean depths, You are in control. Praise and Glory and Honor and Power. Thank you Lord that You alone are our Rock, our Strong Tower. Lord I pray for each dear sister-in-Christ this day and this week that she would be filled with Your Tender Mercies for today and Rest in the Knowledge that she is the daughter of the King, that her Father is Sovereign, Omnipotent and Omnipresent. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Until Next Week,

Your dear friend and sister-in-Christ

The Tree Swing

Dear sisters-in-Christ,

I was remembering something as I was preparing this morning. I had two grandmothers because Grandpa had divorced and remarried. Grandma Irene was my real grandma and Grandma Jesse was my other grandma. As kids we would hear all the stories about how much Grandma Irene was hurt by Grandma Jesse so being a kid I did not care one way or the other about Grandma Jesse, until one summer. We had moved into my Grandpa's old farm house and daddy had put up a tree swing. Not the tire type but one where two or three people could sit in and swing. Grandpa and Grandma Jesse would come over on the weekend's to visit. Usually us kids (5 + cousins) would play but this one summer I started sitting on that swing with Grandma Jesse. I remember being troubled about learning my multiplication tables and told this to grandma. She told me that she liked having her hair brushed. I told her that I could brush her hair for her. That is how I learned the multiplication tables and how I learned to love my grandma Jesse, the dearest and sweetest woman who God placed in my life.

May your week be filled with God's blessing. When you are having a problem He may just bring along someone who needs to have their hair brushed. God is so Gracious and Faithful to us. May we never cease in our Praises and Worship.

Holy Father, Righteous and True,
Hallelujah to our God, who Spoke and it came into Being. Thank you Lord that You Speak, You Touch, You Desire, You Promise, You Pour Out, You Give, Your Restore and You Redeem. May each dear sister-in-Christ this day and in the days ahead lean not on their own understanding but hold tight to Your Promises. May they hold onto Your sustaining Power, Your eternal Peace, and Your abundant Provisions. In Jesus Name, Amen.

God's Reply

Greetings to my dear sisters-in-Christ:

October already - I just finished my September Journey with the Lord and what a journey it was. On October 1st I was refreshed and ready to begin. I will be hosting a prayer and fasting retreat on the 14th of October and would ask for prayers for the women who will be coming and for the speakers. That God would be Glorified and Magnified Abundantly on that day.

This morning as I came to my computer and touched the keys - I began typing -

God this is an impossible situation - how can I take it another day and still remain sane? That is our question in the midst of the trial, I do feel like I am in a little boat and the waves are getting bigger and bigger and the darkness overwhelms me. Then I read God's reply to Job - Chapter 38:4 "Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?" vs. 16 "Have you entered into the springs of the sea, Or walked in the recesses of the deep?" vs. 36 "Who has put wisdom in the innermost being, Or given understanding to the mind?"

This is my God!! Glorious, Magnificent, Holy and Great. No longer will I listen to the thoughts which keep telling me that what I am going through is to much to bear - I know that I have the LORD, who hears me in the midst of my pain, my concern, my dilemma, my dread, my circumstance. HE is the great I AM, the all consuming Fire, the Creator, the Sovereign LORD.

Yes-God does reply, Yes-God does whisper, Yes-God does direct. He sometimes places us in the boat and tells us to go to the other side without HIM. And it is in those times that I will choose to Trust that when He says to Go I must.

Heavenly Father, our Great and Mighty LORD, Hallelujah, Praise You that You Reply. I thank you for Your Word which You place in our Hearts. May each dear sister-in-Christ come into Your Presence this day and in the days ahead and wait for Your Reply. It is in the waiting times when You reveal Your marvelous mysteries to us. I pray also for each dear woman that they would be filled up with Your Love. In Jesus Name, Amen

Until next week,

Your dear friend and sister-in-Christ
