Welcome to the Month of November

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Today's reading comes from Psalm 33, "Sing for Joy in the LORD, O you righteous ones; Praise is becoming to the upright." What a wonderful way to begin this first Wednesday of November. We have been experiencing many days of WIND, which at times has been rather unsettling as the gusts were quite strong. It was hard to drive on the freeway with the large semi trucks trying to stay in their lane. Today it is calm so the morning walk was very nice and walking with my friend was very good today. We were thinking about the goodness of our God and now He is so faithful to us and our families. We also talked about how God is a Good God and that He is in Control and He is Sovereign. With these thoughts being said Psalm 33 seems to speak of these truths. Psalm 33:4-22, "For the word of the Lord is upright, And all His work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the lovingkindness of the LORD, by the word of the LORD the heavens were made, And by the breath of His mouth all their host. He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap; He lays up the deeps in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. The LORD nullifies the counsel of the nations; He frustrates the plans of the peoples. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart from generation to generation. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD." How precious are these truths and how faithful is our LORD that when the winds blow or when the day is calm He is still Sovereign and He is still in Control. He is a Good God and He is in Control. Let us pray, Father, Abba Father, may we sing for Joy in the LORD, whom You have called "righteous ones". Lord, I pray that as we walk through this day that we will sing to you a new song. A song which is pleasing to Your ears and we give You all the Glory and Praise for Your goodness and lovingkindness. Lord, I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that You embrace her with Your goodness and lovingkindness today and everyday. In Jesus Name, Amen. Blessings of Goodness and Mercy,
