Psalm 67

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, We had a late heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures about ten days ago and I was worried about the daffodils blooming. We planted them two years ago and this year it seems that they will bloom but, of course, winter has set in again. So.. day before yesterday, lo and behold I saw a yellow bud on one of the many flowers we planted (75 in total). And yesterday I checked again and yes it is going to bloom. Speaking of flowers, I took a flower arranging class on Saturday that was offered by our local art center (LAC). There were about 9 of us in attendance and the instructor gave us lessons on how to hand wrap flowers. For me, just handling and selecting and seeing the different colors and textures of each flower gave me such a sense of peace that the hours went by so quickly. For many of you your flowers and grasses are probably displaying themselves beautifully, but for me living in a harsh climate even a dandelion is a welcoming sight. Today I chose Psalm 67 to meditate on: "GOD be gracious to us and bless us, And cause His face to shine upon us -- Selah. That Your way may be known on the earth, Your salvation among all nations. Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. Let the nations be glad and sing for joy; For you will judge the peoples with uprightness and guide the nations on the earth. Selah.Let the people praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. The earth has yielded its produce; God, our God, blesses us. God blesses us, That all the ends of the earth may fear Him." Abba Father, we come before Your Throne and will praise You and be glad and sing for joy! Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that today and everyday she will fear You for You bless us beyond measure. In Jesus Name, Amen. Praising Jesus All The Day Long,

A New Word In My Vocabulary

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, I have a new favorite word in my vocabulary - redirect(ing). The more that I hear it, the more comforting it becomes. This is my go-to word for living each moment at a time. One of my mother's favorites, she had quite a few by the way, was "take one day at a time", well of late I have had to "take one moment at a time." And with taking one moment at a time I have to redirect my thoughts - otherwise it becomes too overwhelming for me. With that being said, I would like to introduce you to my new word, redirect(ing). It is a kind word, an action word, a comforting word, and the best part is that it is a peaceful word. If I may take this time to redirect your thoughts today to what is happening in our reality world. Yes, we are sealed, accepted, deeply loved and always being cared for and watched over and guided and directed by the most righteous and holy and magnificent Abba Father. So today as your thoughts of whatever... be redirected to the Cross and the symbolic and significance of the precious act that Jesus did for all of mankind. Let us redirect our thoughts to Romans 8:26-38, our victory in Christ. Abba Father, all praise and glory to You alone we give You our thoughts today and Lord we ask that You redirect the thoughts that we give you and align them with Your perfect Will for our lives. May we be redirected to see only You, hear only You, comprehend the significance of who You are and who we are! Lord, thank You. I pray for our loved ones who do not understand and may they this most holy day be like the thief on the cross and see You and call upon Your Name and be saved. In Jesus Name, Amen. Being redirected one moment at a time,

Trying To Make Up My Mind

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, The month of April is making itself known in my part of the country - one day of warm, sunny weather and the next day, rainy and/or snowy and cold. And WINDY! It seems that it is trying to make up its mind whether to be springlike or still dabbling in wintertime. Seasons, yes, seasons of weather and seasons of life. Sometimes the seasons can be harsh and unrelenting and when it is a season of your life that brings with it that harshness and unrelenting pain or discomfort where do you go or what do you do? For today and for me it is the Word, and the Word for today, Philippians 1:6, For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus." My meditation must be centered on that very thing. It is where my Hope comes from and my decision making and my steadfastness. I hope that as the seasons of weather are so complex and diverse and that seasons of life can feel the same that you would ask, seek and knock the One who already began a good work in you and will perfect it. Dwell on these things. Abba Father, Praise to Thee for Your Lovingkindness and Your Faithfulness. I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that her mind would dwell upon Your Word and be still and know that you are God. And that the good work You already began You alone will perfect it and it will be glorious. In Jesus Name, Amen. Being Perfected,
