Psalm 138:8

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Starting off this post with Psalm 138:8, "The LORD will accomplish what concerns me; Your lovingkindness, O LORD is everlasting: Do not forsake the works of Your hands." Yes, dear and precious sisters-in-Christ it may not look like it or feel like it or even come close to what you had prayed for BUT... Still here it is - The LORD will... He is Faithful and He is everlasting. That situation that looms over you or the disturbing thoughts whirling around in your head or the endless bumping into roadblocks, these are NOT your reality. In the midst of all that surrounds you His faithfulness and His everlasting is the Light shining and the Joy bubbling up inside you when You are Still before Him and recognize that it is His Will and He will accomplish what concerns you. Yes, you are that important to Him! He loves you so much that He will accomplish what concerns you. Lean into Him today and take a deep breath and dwell upon Him. Abba Father, Praise and Glory to Your Name, Thank You, O LORD, for Your faithfulness and for Your everlasting, it is impossible with man, but with You Lord all things are possible. Lord, I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-christ today that as she begins and ends her day and all that is packed in that single day that she would begin with "Thy Will Be Done" and as she places her head upon her pillow at the end of the day her thought would be "Thy Will Be Done" for You will accomplish what concerns her. And Your accomplishing will be so much better and greater than she could ever imagine or ask. In Jesus Name, Amen. Thy Will Be Done,

Isaiah 61:10

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, In preparing for this posting and searching for gems/jewels passages found Isaiah 61:10, "I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, My soul will exult in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation. He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness. As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels." Yes, thank You o LORD that You cloth us with garments of salvation and wrapp us with a robe of righteousness. Living in cold country has its advantages and with that comes a saying called, "layering." Going out into the cold and snow and ice requires a person to put on multiple layers of clothing and depending on the weather conditions throughout the day some of the layers come off or keep on. Not so with the LORD, no matter the circumstances, no matter the conditions He has already clothed us with garments of salvation and even layered us with special wrapping, a robe of righteousness. So as you prepare for your day, deciding on what to wear and/or any additional clothing needed, remember these are needed for our earthly comforts. But in the Lord's eyes He already knows what we need for our earthly body and more importantly what we need for our spiritual body. Abba Father, Praise to Thee. I pray that as each dear and precious sister-in-Christ walks into her day and has to make decisions about her earthly body may she be aware of how deeply and richly You have clothed her spiritual body. How tenderly you clothed her with garments of salvation and wrapped her with a robe of righteousness. In Jesus Name, Amen. Being Layered with God's Love,

Psalm 117

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, There is nothing like an hour of ice skating. It was a nice day and I had the time so decided Monday morning would be a time to go down to the local ice rink and see if the ice was good enough to skate on. The women's hockey team had used it the night before so I was thinking to myself they probably wouldn't be too aggressive and the ice, hopefully would be fine for my figure skates. And it was! The sun was shining and a slight breeze came up, and as I got onto the ice the birds started to sing and the sound of the skates gliding across the ice was so comforting to me. Each time I get on the ice I ask the Lord to keep me upright and not fall. I am totally dependent on Him to keep me from falling! And He has faithfully kept me upright. Me just thinking - that is really the only time that I consciously ask the Lord to keep me from falling. How about you, can you bring to mind a time when you consciouslyu ask the Lord to keep you from falling? Today's title is Psalm 117, "Praise the Lord, all nations, Laude Him, all peoples! For His lovingkindness is great toward us, and the truth of the Lord is everlasting. Praise the LORD! Today's prayer - Abba Father, Thank You that Your lovingkindness is great toward us. Thank you that the truth of You is everlasting. Let us come together this day and Praise thee. Lord may each dear and precious one celebrate today that she is one of the "all peoples". She is Your beloved child and may this truth alone be her reason for giving "Praise the LORD!" May her day(s) ahead be filled with Joy, Hope, Love , and Peace beyond all else. In Jesus Name, Amen. Praise the Lord,

Psalm 104 - Bless the Lord , O My Soul

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, It seems that weather plays a major part in our comings and goings and rightfully so! But this is just one part of our lives and the impact it has on all of us. This first Wednesday of February, a new month just happens to be Groundhog's Day, where predictions are made about the length of winter or the start of spring. I think that of the four seasons, winter and spring are the most important. Living in the part of the country where winter can start in September and end in May an offering of early spring is welcoming. So... the impact of weather is only the physical, the external however God offers an alternative. Yes He does and in Psalm 104 there are so many passages that bring understanding and knowledge and encouragement and love and hope and joy. Let us delve into a few of them - He makes the clouds His chariot; He walks upon the wings of the wind; He make 'the winds His messengers, Flaming fire His ministers. He established the earth upon its foundations, so that it will not totter forever and ever. He waters the mountains from His upper chambers; He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, And vegetation for the labor of man, so that he may bring forth food from the earth." These are just a few and as you read the chapter, there are more and more delights to ponder upon. Yes, weather does impact our lives but it pales in comparison to the impact that our Lord imparts into our body, soul and mind. Abba Father, thank You for today. A new day and even if it is still cold or wet or dark or snowy or dry it is still a new day. We can't see just how much You have planned and purposed for each one of our days but You do it in the most amazing of ways. Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that as she reads and hears that her day would be blessed with the beauty of You. In Jesus Name, Amen. Bless the Lord, O my Soul!
