Psalm 121:5, 8 - The Lord Is and Will ...

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

These uncertain times truly are very adventurous arn't they?

Definition: 1) willing to take risks or to try out new methods, ideas, or experiences, 2) involving new ideas or methods, 3) full of excitement.

I can recall one very adventurous trip that we took several years ago. A float trip down the Missouri River, yes, 5 nights and 6 days of being on a vast river in canoes. My husband and myself along with our oldest son home from the service and our daughter to round out the crew. Two canoes loaded with all the things we needed for eating, drinking and sleeping. We started off around 5:00 in the evening and 6 days later we left the river around 4:00. Each day truly was an adventure, we would start out in the morning not knowing what and how but we had a destination and a map and by afternoon we arrived at our destination and set up camp for the night.

You are probably thinking what does floating down a river have to do with what is going on now. And indeed, a valid thought. I would like to consider the following verses - It is written: "The LORD is your keeper; The LORD is your shade on your right hand." and "The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever."

Yes, these are His promises - He is and He will - amidst these times of uncertainty and every day angst "He is and He will..."

Abba Father,

How Glorious and Majestic and Faithful and Amazing thou art. We give You all the glory and all the Praise. Lord thank you that You are our keeper and our shade on our right hand. Lord thank You that You will guard our going out and our coming in from this time forth and forever. How Great is Thy Name and Yes Lord, I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that she greets each day and all that she has to do may she reach her destination and lay her head down for a peaceful sleep knowing that You are the same yesterday, today and forever. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Living the adventurous life,

LyndiaSue
