Decisions - Joel 3:14

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Another precious Wednesday where I sit at my computer and wait upon the Lord to write the words He desires for your hearts to hear. He never grows weary and He never changes.

Today will be a day where you will have to make a decision. Simple ones like, what kind of clothes to wear; Difficult ones like, finding a new doctor to take care of your child or aging parents. Mine actually started with whether or not I wanted to take a short walk before posting - simple yes, but still something that I needed to decide.

I referenced the scripture: Joel 3:14, "Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision."

We all have loved ones and enemies that will be in that valley someday, however we have a God who is merciful and mighty to safe and desires that all come to Him. Today as you are making your decision may it be one that will bring glory to the Lord and be according to His Will.

Abba Father, Praise thee and thank thee that You are our most Sovereign Lord who reigns over our lives. Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that all of her decisions whether simple or difficult would be bathed in prayer. May she first come to You the great I AM and praise Your Holy Name and worship thee before all else. In the Precious Name of Jesus. Amen.

Psalm 117 - Building Confidence

Greetings dear and precious sisiters-in-Christ,

I pray that your summer is in full bloom and that you are able to take some time to be nurtured by the Lord. As I flipped through my bible to find a verse this morning, a memory came to mind.

Several years back I taught a sunday school class for children and our assignment one year was to have each one of the children recite a verse or verses from the Book of Psalms. I remember this boy who was very introverted and not going to do it. We looked together and found the shortest psalm - Psalm 117, and after several weeks of practicing he was able to stand in front of the church and recite the psalm. I do recall the look he had and I even remember afterwards. He looked so confident!!

As I read the Psalm once again, "O Praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people; 2)For his merciful kindness is great toward us; and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.", how can I not be confident.

Abba Father, Praise to thee, LORD I ask that this day each dear and precious sister-in-Christ, be confident and be Bold in her life. May she dwell in the secret place and know that You love her deeply and intimitately. Oh, Lord may she praise thee for Your merciful kindness. In the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.

Touching My Heart

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

My daughter and her family left on Sunday evening after a whirlwind, yet rewarding, 5 days and 6 nights.

I had forgotten just how entertaining my life was when my children were around.

I do believe that I will be taking their (my grandson and granddaughter) lifestyle and begin my retirement years.

A childlike faith, a smiling face each morning, independent and at the same time very dependent on mom and dad, greeting a new day expecting fun things, always asking, always seeking, and best of all just being themselves.

It was as if God was saying to me, my daughter this is what touching My heart looks like. This is My Love for you. Come to me with a childlike faith.

Abba Father, Praise and Glory and Honor to the most Sovereign Lord. Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that her days will be wonderfully and uniquely designed by thee and in that day may she walk in childlike faith with a smile on her face and be totally dependent upon you knowing that her day will be filled with fun things. May she keep asking and seeking and best of all may she just be herself and know that her heavenly Father absolutely and totally LOVES her. In the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.
