II Corinthians 5:7 - How We Are To Walk

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Yesterday a co-worker was looking at a postcard which was posted on the office's bulletin board. The postcard had a picture of a local store which had been in business for many, many years. I asked if she had been there and she answered yes, she further stated that she was always looking for new places to explore on the island. Like her, this morning I opened up my bible because I was looking for verses to explore. In my exploring I came across this verse - "For we walk by Faith, not by Sight", just like my co-worker is always looking it is no different than I when I am reading my bible. The chapters and verses contained in each book are treasures indeed and in the exploring of them I find that God reveals His most infinite wisdom. I never tire of reading and exploring because just when I think that I have been there before God draws me back again to revisit and most times in the revisiting He reveals more and more of His Character.

Abba Father, How Great Thou Art, may we never tire of exploring Your Word. Lord I pray for each one of these dear and precious sisters-in-Christ that in her exploring of her daily living that she would "Walk by Faith and not by Sight". Lord God may the revelation of Your Truth be evident in her life as she goes forth this day. Bless them oh Lord as she walks through her day. Keep her from the snare of the enemy and renew her strength to be diligent in her walk. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Romans 10:9-10

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I hope that your Wednesday is flourishing - mine has just started, the birds are greeting the dawn with their songs. Such an amazing thing nature is - from the moonshine to the sunshine, each is significant in how it displays God's Glory.

Today in my search for scripture to post Romans certainly caught my attention.

Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

This is my desire for each one of my family members - that they would confess with their mouths the Lord Jesus and that they would believe in their hearts that God as raised him from the dead and that they would be saved. It might be the same with all of you dear and precious sisters-in-Christ.

When you read this email I pray that we would be in one accord and bow our heads before the throne of Grace and ask the most Sovereign Lord to draw our unsaved family members unto Him and may He soften their hearts to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ. In Jesus Name, Amen.

I hope that the rest of your week is filled with precious moments spent with Him.

Psalm 139:17-18

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Last night my sister-in-law treated us to a movie. We saw "The Government's Men". I really liked the movie, there were a couple of very moving scenes which will linger in my mind for quite some time. If you have not seen it yet you may want to consider this post as containing some spoilers. However, one of the scenes showed them torching artwork of the master's. I do not believe that I would call myself an avid lover of artwork but to see all those paintings being burned hurt me. The other scene was when the "Government's Men" found the burnt remains and were searching through the ashes, they came upon two barrels, once they were opened one contained rings of gold, the other contained small pieces of gold, which were fillings from teeth. These two scenes left my heart burdened. Oh how precious we all are to HIM.

I wanted to leave these two verses with you today: "How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O GOD! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

Abba Father,

Oh how I love thee oh Lord, thank you oh Lord that You will never forsake, thank you. I pray for each sister-in-Christ today LORD that she would know how precious Your thoughts are for her, that she would grasp the great sum of them and that as she walks through her waking day Your Love would permeate through her whole being. In Jesus Name, Amen.
