Psalm 45:1
Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,
I am so thankful for the privlege of connecting with each one of you on Wednesday mornings. Through the years you have been there for me in my growth moments and my silly moments and in my sorrowful moments. Isn't it wonderful that no matter where we are in the vast planet and no matter our differences and our likenesses it is always the Lord who binds us together. Yes, our LORD, our creator, our shepherd, our master, our heavenly Father and our Savior and the Holy Spirit, the trinity! Today I would like to share this verse, Psalm 45:1, "My heart overflows with a good theme; I address my verses to the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer." So much is packed into those few words BUT (God) - first, "my heart" each one of us have a heart, a soul heart, that longs to worship the Lord, next is, "overflows", kind of reminds me of when I am distracted while pouring my morning cup of tea and feeling the water dripping from the counter I look down to see the stream of water flowing down. Yes that kind of overflowing and that is the kind of love and blessings that the Lord wants to pour into us. Then "I address my verses to the King". The most important part of placing your thoughts down on paper for it is to give all the glory to the King of kings. The next part, "my tongue", now this is interesting because the word says, death and life are in the power of the tongue, ...", (Prov. 18:21). Thankfully this writer uses his tongue as "the pen of a ready writer." Since I dabble in writing this verse calls out to me for in my writing may I treat it as "the pen of a ready writer giving praise and glory and honor to the One who created ALL things and keeps them in their proper order and makes All things good and is coming back again. Let us pray - Abba Father, Gracious Lord, my heavenly Father, thank you for All the blessings and the gifts and tender mercies that You alone bestow upon each dear and precious sister-in-Christ every new day. May they rejoice and be glad in it and be ready and in boldness proclaim that their hearts overflow with a good theme. A theme which resonates up to the heavens that You are King of kings and Lord of lords. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Siting with pen awaiting the next verse to write,
LyndiaSue
