Merry Christmas - He Is Born

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Mary has labored long and now here she lies with the sweet baby in her arms. Yes, the child has been born!!

But not just any child - unlike any other for his birth announcement came from the mouth of an angel. His lineage from the tribe of Judah and his birthplace in the town of Bethlehem.

As you unwrap your presents and enjoy your day with friends and family or maybe it is by yourself, still the miracle birth and 'tis the season, there are so many reasons to celebrate this day that has been set aside to honor the child "named Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21).

Merry Christmas Blessings and prayer,

Abba Father, we give You all the Praise and Glory and Honor. LORD thank You for giving Your only begotten son, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." Lord may each dear and precious sister-in-Christ give You all the Glory and Honor and Praise this day for her life is in You and You see her as righteous and holy. May Your Peace and Love and Hope and Joy reside in her very being forever and ever. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen,

Blessings to all of you,

Luke 2:11-12 It is in His Name

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Today's scripture reading, "for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is "Christ the Lord. This will be a sign for you; you will find a baby wrapped in clothes and lying in a manger.""

Yes, already named by the angels! And more than that they told them how they will know by giving them a sign.

The birth of Jesus Christ, an event that has been told for centuries and yet there are those who are still in need of a Savior.

My prayer for this day,

Abba Father, thank You for loving us so much that You gave Your only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. Our Savior!! Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that this Christmas season be as the angel said to the shepherds, "Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people;". As they intermingle with all the people during the shopping days, the days spent with family and friends, the days spent alone with you, and the days spent on their jobs, let them be a testimony to the LORD. May their lives be filled with great JOY in the midst of "all the people". In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Being a Vessel of Joy,

Luke 2:1-5 and Romans 15:13

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Luke 2:1-5, Now in those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus, that a census be taken of all the inhabited earth. 2) This was the first census taken while Quirinius was governor of Syria. 3) And everyone was on his way to register for the census, each to his own city. 4) Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David, 5) in order to register along with Mary, who was engaged to him, and was with child.

Romans 15:13, Now may the God of hope fill you with all Joy and Peace in believing, so that you will abound in Hope by the Power of the Holy Spirit.

The word, "believing", in Romans 15:13 caught my attention. Why? Believing what? To be filled with all Joy and Peace, wow that word ALL encompasses so much. In reading the story of the birth of Christ the "believing" began with these words, "now in those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus, that a census...".

It started with a decree - "an official order issued by a legal authority".

Abba Father, we come before your throne of Grace and give You all the Praise and Glory and Honor. I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that from this moment onward that "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. May each one have the mind of Christ, may each one be given renewed strength to soar as the eagle, and may their eyes see the intangible and the ears hear Your divine whispers. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Believing,

Luke 2:1-20

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

'Tis the season! Yes, once again it has come upon us, the announcements, the flyers, the advertisements through social media and radio and store fronts. Unless you live in a cave it is unavoidable. But...

Yes, but for us, the dear and precious and beloved children of God, those who have called upon the name of the Lord, those who believe that the one born in a stable in Bethlehem and that his birth was announced to shepherds in a field by an angel of the LORD and after the announcement there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying..., indeed 'tis the season of rejoicing.

Yes, 'tis the season for us who believe to rejoice! Today in the reading of Luke 2:1-20 may we be just as the shepherds, "the shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as had been told them."

Abba Father, Praise and Glory and Honor to Thee, Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that each day be filled with rejoicing in knowing and trusting and believing that yes indeed 'tis the season of rejoicing for it is written, "for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." Let each heart rejoice and let each mind be at peace. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.

'Tis the Season of Rejoicing,
