Now and Then

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

This will be my last posting for some time. By this time next Wednesday, all of our worldly goods minus clothing and personal items, will be packed snugly and securely in a container, which will leave our port here and arrive in Seattle port then offloaded and placed on a truck and driven to our new home. All this is expected to be done within 4 to 8 weeks. The reality of living on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean seems to come to life every now and then. This is one of the nows.

How many times are the words "now" and "then" used in the bible? Our lives are filled with "nows" and "thens"!!! Our LORD fills every space of our "nows" and "thens". I find that so comforting and yet exilerating that the Creater of all things, delights and draws and desires and deepens and deems us all.

Abba Father, Praise thee and thank thee for Your Amazing LOVE for us! How marvelous are Your Ways, far beyond all that we are able to comprehend. Lord God may the words of the first Psalm be placed deep within our hearts and minds and souls, may these words of truth ignite our hearts to trust in thee more and more, to ask, to seek, to knock more passionately awaiting Your return. In the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Snags Along the Way

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Too many goodbyes to so many people, places and things seem to be happening. Our garage sale last Saturday took quite a toll on my emotions. First it was the letting go of the things and realizing that the value I had placed on them was far greater than what the person wanting to pay were so different. Second was the people that came to the sale. I had no idea that over the last 15 years the relationships that have been made with individuals, whether through work or church or the different neighborhoods I have lived in. This was the most painful part because with each greeting came a hug and with each parting came tears and hugs. The Lord is so good!! His Love and Goodness is so Amazing. I had no idea.

Third was the realization that HE loves me so richly and intimately and deeply that these things that had concerned me He so richly and intimately and deeply answered them and He is continually doing.

The snags along the way, He allows, He knows, He equips and He is Faithful.

Abba Father,

Praise and Glory and Honor to thee. Thank you that with every snap along the way You are our Everything. May each dear and precious sister-in-Christ come this day and every day until Your appearing, before the Cross and worship the one who gave it all. Jesus, our First Love!! May their days be filled with Your Presence, Your Peace, Your Provision and Your Power. In the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.
