Psalm 90: 12 Who Is Counting?

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

This is my 504 posting! I find that truly amazing that I have been able to meet with all of you on our special Wednesday mornings. I titled my post, "Who Is Counting?" for I was thinking this morning that it has been a year since I officially retired from my so called working life and it seems since then that each day I am telling someone about my number of years lived here or the number of times I have done this. Also in my journal writing this morning I was trying to remember what age I was when I first asked the Lord for something really important in my life. So while I am trying to think of the number of days or posts or times, I'm also thinking about who is counting?

The answer is found in Psalm 90:12, "So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom."

Yes, Lord today and every day may this be my prayer unto thee --

Abba Father, All Praise and Honor and Glory be unto thy name, thank you oh LORD for my days that You have given me, each day more amazing then the previous one and the tender mercies You give each day, so glorious and magnificent. I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that she would take hold of this day and rejoice for it is the day that you have made and in that rejoicing may her prayer be, "Oh LORD, teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom." In the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.

Having Color in Your Life

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

The sun is shining and the birds are singing and the flowers are blooming, all of these have colors. So many different colors!!! No longer the gray days. Instead my world is so rich in color. I have put away the drab clothing of winter and have been slowly putting on my tees and blouses and even wore a sun dress the other day along with my bling slippers. The weather man reports that we are having record highs and for the next few days it will be warm. Hooray!!!

Color in my life is back again.

Abba Father, Praise thee for all the brilliant colors that You give us to enjoy. Thank you that our life is never drab but rather a combination of such different hues that fill our senses with JOY. I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ today that her life be filled with Your Brilliance and Magnificence that all earthly colors pale in comparison. May your rainbow of Hope and Faithfulness be present in her life as she walks through her day. In the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.
