Welcome to the Month of June

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, I am so thankful that each month of the year has four Wednesdays. The first Wednesday is such a joy for I get to enter the month with a greeting of welcoming followed by a second Wednesday of checking in followed by a third Wednesday that hopes the half way point is going smoothly and lastly the fourth to say don't give up we will make it through 'til the end. So, this being the first Wednesday of the month of June let's celebrate with Joy and what better verses to celebrate than Romans 5:1 and 2, for it is written, "Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God." Stepping stones on our walk of Faith for the month of June - justified, peace, access, stand, rejoice, hope, and glory. Let us begin our month of June and enter into the realm of truth as we meet with the one who is/has/will make this journey with us each stepping stone of the way. My exercise of choice is walking and there have been many memorable walking trails and parks and local neighborhoods and city streets where I have walked in the morning. One of the most memorable was walking with my dad down the lane that surrounded the neighborhood he and mom lived at the time. Out the front door and around the curve to overlook our favorite river that flowed through the valley below. It was a gravel road so we could hear our footsteps crunching on the pebbles as we strolled and talked. My father had the gift of gab and me being his daughter joined in. We had many things to talk about and many things to discuss for my visits were around three years apart. The last time that we were able to take our walk was in June of 2015. The walks with my dad were joyful and refreshing and always filled with laughter. So today may each one of you cling to the words of Romans 5:1 and 2, and take your first steps into the month of June trusting that each step of faith you take is holy for who goes before you is Jesus, the author and perfecter of our Faith. Let us pray - Abba Father, Glorious LORD, Praise to thee for these precious truths that we are Your children and that there is nothing that will or can separate us from Your Everlasting, Lovingkindness and Steadfast Love. Lord may these words resonate in their ears as they believe and trust and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. In Jesus Name, Amen. Walking into the month of June with Jesus,
