Psalm 148 - Praise the LORD
Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,
I want to thank all grocery owners for greeting me with flowers as I enter their store. And especially now when I am missing the fragrance and the array of colors of flowers and vines and stems that surround me as I first enter. I have to admit my lingering is often more for my mental state than to purchase. It makes the task for searching through the isles for what is on my list that had been prepared maybe several days ago. In fact, just trying to find a parking place makes the stress of going in much higher. But after gathering a cart and entering in I am met with flowers and plants, rows and rows of them, some in buckets all bunched together and some in pots ready to be taken home. Can you guess that I am ready for winter to be over? But alas, I must wait! Once again, I am in the waiting room. There are many in the waiting room as the winter season seems to linger on and on. If one or some of my dear sisters-in-Christ are in the waiting room - waiting for an answer, waiting for a change in the diagnosis, waiting for the loved one to come home, or even waiting for the night to end let us gather together and meditate on Psalm 148 - "Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens; Praise Him in the heights! Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts! Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all stars of light! Praise Him, highest heavens, And the waters that are above the heavens! Let them praise the name of the LORD, For He commanded and they were created. He has also established them forever and ever; He has made a decree which will not pass away. Praise the Lord from the earth, Sea monsters and all deeps; Fire and hail, snow and clouds; Stormy wind, fulfilling His word; Mountains and all hills; Fruit trees and all cedars; Beasts and all cattle, creeping things and winged fowl; Kings of the earth and all peoples; Princes and all judges of the earth; Both young men and virgins; Old men and children. Let them praise the name of the LORD, For His name alone is exalted; His glory is above earth and heaven. And He has lifted up a horn for His people, Praise for all His godly ones; even the sons of Israel, a people near to Him. Praise the LORD! This is my prayer.
Open yours eyes and see,
LyndiaSue
