All Things Are Possible With God

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in Christ, How comforting and hopeful are these words, "all things are possible with God." With the cold snap I am experiencing in my part of the country and the fires that are raging in another part of the country it can be so hard to visualize that God is in control and that He is Sovereign and that all things are possible with Him. People are offering up prayers for warmth and rain and that the winds would STOP. Those who have lost everything and those who can't seem to get warm are crying out to the Lord for His mercy and grace. The world would have us believe that if we only did this or that then it would be okay. I do not want to make light of all the destruction and devastation that seems to be happening. For those who are going through these tragedies and for those who are going about their everyday lives because they are not affected by what is happening somewhere else, we still need God. We need Him and continue to strife to be His witnesses throughout our lives. He is still in Control and still Sovereign and still creating miracles in our lives. Psalm 17:8, "Keep me as the apple of the eye; Hide me in the shadow of Your wings...", yes Lord as I walk into my day, wherever You have placed me to be, may my prayer be this. Abba Father, Praise and Glory and Honor to the Lord of lords and King of kings. Thank You oh Lord that whatever we are experiencing in our lives and however You chose to bless us and provide for us and protect us I pray that each dear and precious sister-in-Christ persevere in prayer, keep asking and seeking and knocking and remember these words, "all things are possible with God!" (Matthew 19:26). Lord, my prayer is that You would keep them as the apple of the eye and hide them in the shadow of Your wings. In Jesus Name, Amen. He is Sovereign,
