Lamentations 3:22-24

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

The scripture for this posting is Lamentations 3:22-24, "Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.""

There is so much that is happening all over the world that it is hard for me to not dwell on the earthly things and become consumed with fear or doubt. However, the LORD brings His consuming LOVE through His Word and His compassions never fail. When the morning comes, once again I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him."

My prayer for all of you, whom I have the honor of entering into your lives each Wednesday, would be that the LORD's great love and His compassions which never fail that this morning and every morning until His return coupled with the greatness of His faithfulness would cause you to say to yourself, "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him." In the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.

Focusing on HIM - Psalm 149 Praise the Lord

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

My life has been consumed lately with a tooth, it started back in April and after several visits to the dentist resulting in a new crown and then root canal and finally ended up having the tooth pulled. In between all that time the pain in my lower right jaw just kept getting worse. At times the pain was severe and at other times just annoying.

Pain how it does consume us - whether it is mental, physical or spiritual. It becomes the center of our thoughts. Over the last couple months I have tried to be thankful and grateful but still I would feel the weariness and the pain and would once again lose my focus.

Today with this posting I will once again attempt to regain my FOCUS. My prayer for you is...

Abba Father, Praise thee, for You are the LORD, oh Lord I pray that each dear and precious sister-in-Christ would sing to the Lord a new song, may they praise His name with dancing and make music to Him with tambourine and harp. May the praise of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands. Oh most righteous and holy Lord we come before Your throne of Grace and with our hearts and our minds and shout unto You. "PRAISE THE LORD". In the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.

Psalm 3:3-8

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I opened an email from a precious sister-in-Christ on Monday and began to pray for her and her family as she asked of me. Throughout the remainder of the day and into the next day, as thoughts of her came to mind, I continued to lift her up in prayer. Yesterday while clearing up an area of my side yard to prepare for new plants; I was once again reminded of the family and knew that I needed to talk to the mother. Since I did not have her phone number I contacted my friend and asked if she would help me.

My phone rang and looking at the location it was her, I answered and as soon as she answered back I wanted so badly to be with her and to hug her and to hold her hand. I told her this and her response was so wonderful, she wished it also but said that just hearing my voice was enough.

She needed comforting and I wanted to be physically there to do that - an impossible thing. Oh how great is our most Sovereign Lord that "all things are possible".

Oh dear sisters-in-Christ how many times have we wanted to be comforted or be the one comforting and the Lord hears our cries and makes "all things possible!"

Abba Father, coming before Your most righteous and holy throne of Grace, I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ today that she will hear Your Voice being spoken into her heart - Your Voice giving her comfort and peace and hope and love. In the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.

Raining

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I fell asleep to the sound of rain last night and early this morning I awoke to the sound of rain. Not a harsh sound but a gentle sound. The kind of sound that lulls me to sleep and yet when I awaken in the morning I am refreshed and want to take some quiet moments listening. Since it was predawn I decided to read some chapters in Genesis and once again discovered just how amazing our Father-God is. His promises are everlasting to everlasting.


Abba Father,

I pray that as each dear and precious sister-in-Christ walks through her day that she would know You and trust fully in You and would not falter in her Faith. So many circumstances and things want to place burdens upon you but your Heavenly Father desires that you would trust Him in every area of your life. Only He knows where and what and when. Trust Him fully and rest in Him. In the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.
