Psalm 93 The Lord Reigns

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Today's reading, Psalm 93 with only five verses, is packed with so many truths that it leaves me speechless! Let us read, "The Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty; The Lord has clothed and girded Himself with strength; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved. Your throne is established from of old, You are from everlasting. The floods have lifted up, O Lord, The floods have lifted up their voice, the floods lift up their pounding waves. More than the sounds of many waters, than the mighty breakers of the sea, the Lord on high is mighty. Your testimonies are fully confirmed; Holiness befits Your house, O Lord, forevermore." While living in Hawaii the storms would come through and from our house, which was at 450 ft elevation. We could hear the sounds of the many waters and the mighty breakers of the sea that would come crashing into the high rise condominiums or just breaking against the wall. When we first experienced it I had my husband drive me down to the ocean to see it. We parked the car and walked between the buildings and stood motionless because the ocean spray was overpowering and the sounds deafened our ears. And at the same time witnessing the power of the waters which were terrifying in the degree of their intensity and strength. In reading these verses the Lord, our God on high is mighty and He alone reigns and is clothed with majesty and girded with strength. How great is our God! Let us pray - Abba Father, how rich are Your tender mercies new every morning, how blessed we are to be called daughters of the King. O, Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that her day be filled with wonder working miracles and blessings so beautiful and fragrant that all she wants to do is sit at the feet of Jesus. Equip her for her day going forth and give her Your mighty strength. In Jesus Name, Holiness befits Your House,

John 1:12 - But As Many As

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Wow what a proclamation! John 1:12, "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His Name." The reason I am so comforted by this verse is because of these four words, "but as many as". How many is that is infinite and profound for all the people in the world, past present and future are included in these four words. How can I not Trust in this Sovereign Lord who has reconciled Himself to us and to the whole world. You and me and all the other yous and mes of the world. Those whom I will never meet this side of heaven or will not have an encounter with unless God ordains it. I am more aware of the amount of people that can live in an area now that I have moved back east and it is so populated. The stores, the highways, the byways, the parks, the pharmacies and the doctors offices. So as I venture out from my little abode where I can control the sound levels and the amount of space to occupy and get in amongst the crowd of people it even overwhelms this extroverted person. How omnipotent that He even knows the number of our hairs and has named the stars. I am in awe of Him today and giving Him the glory and honor. Let us pray - Abba Father, how Great thou art, that we have the right to become children of God. Lord, I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that she rejoices today in knowing that since the beginning of time You made it possible through the death of Your Son by this verse of truth, "but as many as received Him". Lord may they be still today and know that You are God. No matter the situation or the crisis or the celebration or the conditions that Your peace which passes all understanding will be poured into their hearts and their minds. In Jesus Name, Amen. Believing on His name,

Day of Remembering

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Here we are, once again on a Wednesday morning leaning on the Lord for inspiration and direction. Yes, without Him directing and guiding I do know that my life as it now is would not even exist. It has been told by my mother that at the age of four I was standing in a wheat field and my lips were moving, when I came inside she asked me who I had been talking to, my response, "Jesus". But it was not until the teenage years when I learned just how important it was to let Him be my LORD. The winter of 1966 was when I attended a bible study and listened to a man tell of his experience while attending seminary. I accepted Christ that night and all these years later I have been talking to Jesus and have witnessed the miracles of lives being changed by the simple prayer of repentance. When the Lord opens up the heavens and all things are quiet and you know that you are in His presence, whether in a wheat field at age 4 or a church basement at age 16 or any other scenarios that the Lord's miracle working power to capture the heart and mind and soul of the person whom He has been drawing close to Him and you have the privilege of planting a seed or sharing a testimony is such a beautiful scene. All of you have your story to tell of His faithfulness and patience and righteousness and rich mercies. May this day be a day of remembering just how great is our Lord. Let us pray - Abba Father, Praise and Glory to Thee we shout and with raised hands we sing of Your goodness and mercy. O Lord, I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-christ that this be a day of remembering just how merciful and mighty are You. May they sit at the feet of Jesus and listen and worship. In Jesus Name, Amen. His hand is upon you, LyndiaSue

He Who Is Constant

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, I received a card where the person sending it to me stated, "... am very happy you are a constant in my life." Needless to say I was so overwhelmed, and it was at that moment I realized just how heartfelt these words were, for it is very hard for me to even imagine. In fact I had to look up the word constant to get the full impact. Definition: used as an adjective - occurring continuously over a period of time, and used as a noun - a situation or state of affairs that does not change. Wow, it had the same impact on me this morning as I reread the card to share with all of you. I thanked the Lord for such an encouraging and loving word to be spoken and realized that my life in Christ is "constant", when used as an adjective or used as a noun. Yesterday was our one year anniversary of arriving on Ohio land and finding a home and starting the next chapter of our lives. When we started out with only an invitation to move here to be closer to our son but also to be in a place with better medical care for my husband. There have been so many miracles each and every day along with challenges and difficult situations and so many things that I could never imagine in a lifetime. I have shared many of them already but I did want to share this day and may it stand as a memorial that the God of all creation, the Great I AM, my Abba Father is the "constant" in my life and I am very happy that He is. It is a windy and rainy day, just the kind of day where a hot cup of chocolate and a good book to read on the couch is in store. Let us pray - Abba Father, Gracious and Mighty LORD, Praise to thee for all the blessings, the "constant" mercies, and for each and every day. O, Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that her days and nights be richly blessed and may each one of them be happy because You are the "constant" in their lives. In Jesus Name, Amen. Enjoy your day and week,

Psalm 80 - Awaken, Restore, Return and Watch

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, First, I would like to update you on my husband's hand surgery. It is definitely a praise report. The surgery went very well and in his first meeting with the PT he was told that he is healing and moving very well and continue what he is doing and doing it slowly. So thank you ever so much for your prayers for "complete" healing. And for me the Lord kept me in perfect peace through the surgery and also even until today because of the confidence in Him alone for hearing prayers of faithful believers. As I think past this last week these words in the verses of Psalm 80 resonate within me. Verse 2,"...Awaken your might; come and save us", Verse 3, 7, and 19, "Restore us, O God Almighty; make your face shine upon us, that we may be saved." And lastly verses 14, "Return to us, O God Almighty! Look down from heaven and see! Watch over this vine,". How great is our Lord that no matter the small details or the large happenings in our lives may our prayers of restoration in health or provision or peace or His presence all we need to do is seek Him and ask to restore us. He hears us for indeed we are His vines and we need Him ALL the time. Let us pray - Abba Father, Praise to You for Your Faithfulness in ALL things and in ALL ways. O, Lord, I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ, today that as she awakens in the morning that You are there with Your might as we ask to come and save us. In every circumstance of her life that she would see the miracle working power for Your Face is shining upon them and by Your Grace they are saved and lastly Lord that You would look down from heaven and see! and Watch over them for they are your vines. In Jesus Name, Amen. Blessings upon you all,
