Ponder on the Word "ALL"

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, The word "all" came to my mind as I was thinking of what to write this wonderful and beautiful end of the month of July Wednesday. Looking at the concordance in my bible for the word "all" the following categories and number of verses were presented: All the days of his/you/my life (10), All the earth (22), and All the saints (10). I selected three verses from "all the saints category - Eph. 3:18-19, "may be able to comprehend with "all" the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpsses knowledge, that you be filled up to "all" the fullness of God." and Revelation 8:3, "Another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, so that he might add it to the prayers of "all" the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne." My dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, saints in the Lord, this is my prayer: Abba Father, Thank You for ALL Your Fullness, Lord how can we Your dear and precious saints in this human flesh even comprehend ALL of Your Fullness and even more ponder on this, that ALL our prayers from the beginning to the end are on the golden altar which was before the throne. Lord draw us unto Thee in All Your fullness and may be get a glimpse of the impact that our prayers make in our lives and in the lives of our loved ones and even in the lives of our enemies. Lord You hear our prayers and even store them up for such a time as this. In Jesus Name, Amen. All of me before Him,

Staying In Touch

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Another Wednesday has arrived and I am so glad to be able to spend my morning time with you all! I have been doing it for so long that I have forgotten why and how the Lord has given me this purpose in life. I am thankful that He has and will continue until He shuts the door. It began in the year 2002 when I felt led by the Lord to send letters of prayers to my friends from the mainland. We had moved to Hawaii in 2001 and I had not found a church or any friends so I needed the support of my friends whom I had left. My memory was that it started with twelve faithful friends. I wrote them letters each week. From there it expanded to digital communication and more and more women were added throughout the years. What started small has now grown and what started out as a need to stay in touch with my friends has now grown to more and more friends and still a need to stay in touch. By staying in touch I mean this, writing to you and hopefully when it is received my thoughts and prayers are in agreement with your thoughts and prayers. I know this because it is written, "For here two or three are gathered together in my Name, I am in their midst." What a wonderful and gracious God, time and space have no boundaries with Him. So as I write these words just know that God is in my Presence and as you read know that He is also in your midst. I love how our Lord continually stays in touch with us. Abba Father, Praise to Thee that You are a God who is in our midst. O Lord I pray that as we find ways of staying in touch with each other that You are the one we desire to be in our midst. Wherever we go may You be in our midst. May each dear and precious sister-in-Christ be encouraged today, be refreshed today, be renewed today, be filled with the fruit of the Spirit today, be reminded of Your presence in her midst. In Jesus Name, Amen. Staying in Touch,

Picnicking with the LORD

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Picnic time - yes, time to grab your blanket and makeshift picnic basket or maybe the old fashioned kind that has a serving set inside and then off to the local park or maybe a beachside or mountain or lakeside area and settle in for an afternoon of relaxation. Sometimes that is all that is needed to quiet our minds. When I was growing up we had a couple of meadows in the two of our mountain ranges that surround our city. It was an hour's drive to get there, which seemed like forever, but well worth the time taken. Of course I was a child then so it didn't matter what needed to be packed into the vehicles in order for us to have family time together. I just remember I had my bike and there were horseshoes and large washers too. Running around or finding that special trail that you had taken the year before was all that was needed to satisfy a child. The adults, just being able to sit around and talk knowing that all the children of different ages would be free to play. Yes, a time to be free to play - I guess that is what a picnic is about - maybe that is why adults and children like picnics. So I hope that in the month of July you will have the opportunity to play - whatever form that is for you - whether a blanket and a good book or a beach towel listening to the waves or a chair nestled in between trees sitting by a stream or brook. And hopefully Psalm 23 will come to your mind - "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your road and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life. And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." Abba Father, Glorious Lord, Magnificent LORD, thank You that You are our Shepherd and we shall not want. Thank You that you make me lie down in green pastures; and lead me beside quiet waters. Praise Thee that you restore my soul. Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ today that you would make her to lie down in green pastures and lead her beside quiet waters and restore her soul. Give her Peace and Love and Joy and Hope in every situation and tender blessing. In Jesus Name, Amen. Picnicking with the Lord,

Resurfacing

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, Our main street is being resurfaced and it is taking a long time and is a real nuisance. First all the side roads are CLOSED, second getting to your appointment, which is located on Main Street is a mess. Since I was coming from one side of town I needed to cross Main Street which meant watching for the BIG trucks then walking across rocky covered tar. I had to leave my shoes outside the office so that I didn't get the tar on the doctor's carpet. I got to thinking this morning - isn't it wonderful that when the Lord resurfaces our lives that it is in the blink or even better less than the blink of an eye. Yes, His resurfacing, filling the worn out, the potholes, the unevenness of our lives is instantaneous. In fact, for when we confess our sins before Him He is faithful to forgive us. That's all that happens. That is Grace. No heavy equipment needed. No black tar. No dumping of pebbles. No BIG rollers needed to smooth down the roughness. No waiting for it to adhere. It is even better than that - it is a new birth, yes indeed for with God all things are possible. For it is written, "But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loves us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus." How great is our God! Abba Father, All of Creation cries out to You, All things and Lord we cry out to You today, confessing our sins, those areas that are worn out and pitted and filled with potholes, areas that have weakened our resolve, our faith, our trust in You. Oh Lord forgive us and make us new today. Fill us with ALL the fulness of You once again. Lord thank You that when we cry out to You that it is not in vain. You have heard our cries, You have seen our tears, You have felt our pain. Praise to thee oh Lord. May Your tender mercies be abundant and also evident in our lives today. In Jesus Name, Amen. Resurfaced by His Grace,
