Step Into the Light of His Grace

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Today is a special day because, He is asking you to step into the Light, the Light of Grace. Imagine that your day has become darkened by ominous clouds threatening pending destruction. Imagine that your day is being overshadowed by a crisis and it seems darkened by what the future will be. Imagine that your day... All of us are currently having days where are imagination is in sonic speed. So... for today let us imagine that we have been given an invitation to enter into the day filled with His Light. The invitation seemed to light up as soon as it was touched, you grasp it in your hand and without hesitation you run to the spot where suddenly a portal opens and you enter.

There is a Light like none other seen and it can even be heard as it flows through your body and into your senses rendering you speechless but you do not care for you do not have a care to even worry about.

My dear and precious sisters-in-Christ this is what our most Glorious and Magnificent LORD is offering us today. Let us step into the Light of His Grace and imagine....

Romans 5:1,2, For it is written, "Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God."

Abba Father,

Praise thee above all things and in all things, yes Lord we give you Praise this morning and every morning. Lord thank You for Your Light of Grace. We have no words to fully express our gratitude for Your abundant Love for us. Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that this would be her special day filled with Your Light of Grace and as she steps into the Light of Your Grace and begins to imagine may You draw near to her and unfold the beauty and loveliness and graciousness that You desire for her to believe and trust that You are her loving LORD for all eternity. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen

Stepping into the Light of His Grace,

The Healing at Bethesda

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Wednesday morning and let us imagine that we are witnessing a scene - we are with Jesus and the scene begins in John 5:2-9, "Now there is in Jerusalem by the sheep gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew Bethesda, having five porticoes. In these lay a multitude of those who were sick, blind, lame, and withered. A man was there who had been ill for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had already been a long time in that condition, He said to him, "Do you wish to get well?" The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, but while I am coming, another steps down before me." Jesus said to him, "Get up, pick up your pallet and walk." Immediately the man became well, and picked up his pallet and began to walk.

My bible states that the following verses were missing from earlier mss - vs 3b and 4, which states, "waiting for the moving of the waters; for an angel of the Lord went down at certain seasons into the pool and stirred up the water; whoever then first, after the stirring up of the water, stepped in was made well from whatever disease with which he was afflicted."

In witnessing this scene you are not privilged to hear the words exchanged, you only see the diseased and helpless people and then Jesus approaching a man who could not walk and then the man was walking.

If you witnessed this today, what would be your thoughts, your reactions and/or your ponderings on the event?

Abba Father, Praise and Glory and Honor to Thee. Thank You that You are Sovereign and Omnipotent and Omnipresent. O LORD, as we come before Your throne of Grace in expectancy knowing that Your ways and thoughts are so much higher than ours. As we, just like the hurting and ailing and lame waited at the pool in Bethesda, wait may our waiting not be in vain. Yes Lord You know us so intimately and deeply and Your Love never changes. You see us and desire us to draw near to Thee. Lord, may we be still and know that You are a faithful and compassionate God. In our waiting may You still our hearts and minds to Trust in You alone. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Waiting Upon Him,

Good Morning LORD

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I started in June and have continued each morning writings in my journal with "Good Morning LORD". The main reason was - each morning when I woke up my first thought was, "Is it real or just a nightmare?" The realization that something so chaotic was real that the only time it is not in my thoughts is when I am asleep.

My only comfort and peace is knowing that the LORD is so much BIGGER than whatever is going on in the world. For some that is beyond comprehension right now but that still doesn't make it the TRUTH. The LORD is in control and He is MIGHTY and MAGNIFICENT and MARVELOUS!

So.... I will continue to start my day by communing with Him. For I know that it is morning, (no question about it, 6:00 am is morning) and I know it is good because it is written, "this is the day which the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24) and "The LORD's lovingkindnesses indeed never cease. For His compassions never fail. They are "new every morning" Great is Your faithfulness." (Lamentations 3:22-23) How can it not be good when His lovingkinesses and compassions are "new every morning."

Dear and precious sisters-in-Christ may your morning be filled to the brim with the Lord's lovingkindness and compassion and may you rejoice and be glad in it for it was made by the Lord, who is BIGGER than anything that is in the world. I don't know your circumstances, I don't know your concerns, I don't know..., but He knows! Let us pray -

Abba Father,

You are mighty and magnificent and marvelous that we are compelled to come before You each morning offering our praise and worship. Thank You for giving us this day. Thank You for Your lovingkindness and compassion for we need it more than ever now. Lord I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that her day be ALL that You have already gifted her with, a day of such beauty and favor and tender mercies that she be as carefree as a little child and able to walk into her day with wonder and amazement of how blessed she is for she is loved dearly by You. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

May You Be Amazed,

Teach Us To Number Our Days

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I had a dream last night and when I awoke I had to write down what was said, "do not let the end define you but rather complete you." The dream sequence - I was managing agent for a young man who was wanting to get his song published. The agents were there asking me about him because they had a choice between him and another person. The agent had the young man's resume in his hand and said, "is there anyway he can rewrite this because it seems that he just gave up at the end. In trying to convince him tell him, "do not let the end define you but rather complete you." I woke up and wrote down the words.

The end doesn't necessarily mean death. There are so many things in our lives that have an end and, unless it is death, the end is followed by a beginning. Yes the end of the day, the beginning of a new day. The end of being a child and the beginning of being an adult. The end of a season and the beginning of a new season. The end of a project and the beginning of a new one.

In our endings of something maybe it seems to define rather than complete. I would hope that the Lord would teach us to number our days that our endings would always be a completing of something rather than letting it define.

Dearest and most precious sisters-in-Christ, my prayer for today -

Abba Father, our Creator, Praise to thee and thank you that You created us to live in the beginning until the end, thank You that when the end of something happens You always have a beginning of something new. Thank You that everyday is a new day that You created and may each one of us rejoice and be glad in it. Lord I pray for each one today that as she looks at the things that are ending it will not define her but by Your Grace it completes her. May she rejoice in the end just as richly as she rejoices in the beginning. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Blessings Upon You,

Psalm 107:1 - Lovingkindness

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

In reading of the psalms today, Psalm 107:1 jumped out to me along with a few other verses, which I will share too. But first Psalm 107:1, "Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is Good, For His Lovingkindness is everlasting." Two words = GOOD and LOVINGKINDNESS!

Then verses 23 and 24 - "Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business on the great waters; they have seen the works of the LORD and His wonders in the deep." How so because ... vs 27 - they reeled and staggered like a drunken man, and "were at their wits" end." How many times have we been at our "wits' end"? and what comes next in vs 28, "They cried to the LORD in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distresses."

Oh dear and precious sister-in-Christ, with these few verses and words spoken a clear picture is given of how we probably are when we are at "our wits" end." When there is no lovingkindness, when there is no solid ground, when the prognosis is dire, when the damage done is so severe that you are "reeling and staggering like a drunken man." And so in the midst of..., let us give thanks to the LORD, for He is GOOD, for HIS LOVINGKINDNESS is everlasting.

Yes, it is everlasting.... My prayer: Abba Father, Praise to You and thank You for Your Lovingkindness that is everlasting. Oh LORD our finite minds are so limited that the promises of GOOD and LOVINGKINDNESS seem to be far from what we are experiencing. LORD I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ today that if she is at her "wits' end" or if she is "reeling and staggering like a drunken man" that when she cries out to You, that You would "cause the storm to be still" (vs. 29) then she would be glad and that You would then guide her to the desired haven. (vs 30). Yes Lord Your Lovingkindness is everlasting. I ask in the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Being Washed in His Lovingkindness,

LyndiaSue
