Merry Christmas - John 10:9

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I know that I am late in posting and most of you have already celebrated with gifts being opened and now sharing time with family. We are having a quiet Christmas with phone calls and video chats with the children and grandchildren.

My prayer for all of you

Abba Father,

I bow my head and my heart before thee and pray for these dear and precious sisters-in-Christ, thank you that You sent Your son as a babe and his words to us, those who believe, that He is the door; by Him if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. Oh Lord may these precious words go forth and may each sister-in-Christ find the pasture which You have planned and purposed for them. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Psalm 73:28 - Drawing Near to God

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

I have referenced Psalm 73:28 this morning as I find that more and more I am need of time alone with Him. The verse reads, "But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works."

I got all of my Christmas cards addressed and prepared to be mailed out today. I had to make the time to do it this year, for some reason other things kept getting in the way. I have had many distractions this year and realize that my time with the Lord has been getting shorter and shorter. It has almost become a routine for me, reading a small devotional and then a few quiet moments in prayer while drinking my morning tea.

Abba Father, thank You that You are always near and that when I say that it is good for me to draw near to You it is You who is calling me to draw near. Lord, how Great and Glorious thou art. I pray for each dear and precious one that her heart would begin to stir as she ponders on this time of the year. May her heart hear Your Voice which is calling her to draw near to You, her Lord. I pray also that as she draws near that she will put her TRUST in the Creator of All Things, the great I AM and as she does may she declare all thy works. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Matthew 1:21 - Merry Christmas

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

Merry Christmas to all of you.

I referenced Matthew 1:21, "And she shall bring forth a son, and you shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Abba Father

Praising and Giving Glory to thee, Sovereign Lord, I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that in her giving and receiving of gifts this year that the most important part of it all is that You came to save. Oh LORD, may the name of JESUS resound from the highest treetops and in the midst of the darkest night and in the coldest of hearts this Christmas. Lord I pray for each one that this Christmas she remember the precious gift that You gave and rejoice in knowing that her name is written in the Book of Life. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Merry Christmas and Blessings,

Psalms 139:1-6

Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,

His Truth - Some years back we (my husband and I) belonged to a community group (bible study) which grounded us in our walk with the Lord. You may ask how, well, let me explain. Sometimes our discussions (debates) over the interpretation of the message, which had been presented the Sunday before in church, would get pretty intense. This would continue for some time but the one question that would end it all would be from a dear and precious sister-in-Christ - the question, "where is that in the bible or where does it say that in the bible". All conversations would cease and all of us would diligently be seeking the passage. There are still times when I hear things and the Lord will bring to remembrance the question.

The referenced passage today, Psalms 139:1-7 is His Truth - This is my prayer for you dear and precious sisters-in-Christ today - may you hear His Truth.

Abba Father, Sovereign Lord Praise thee that "thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my down sitting and mine uprising, thou understands my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it." In Jesus Name, Amen.
