Welcome to the Year of 2026
Greetings dear and precious sisters-in-Christ,
I started a four week devotional study the first week of January. It is titled, "The Power of Words" by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth. The first week's memory verse, Proverbs 18:21, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit." I must admit that I have had to do a great amount of sharing over the last few months since my husband passed away. Friends and family and casual acquaintances were very much interested in the details and after listening they asked how I was doing and/or feeling and after talking with a few neighbors, who only knew my husband since we have moved here, about 2 1/2 years and gave me hugs of comfort and words of encouragement and support, I realized that in order to introduce them to my faith in the Lord. It was after the trip to Hawaii where we (my son and I) had done what my husband had requested that the way I speak into other people's lives was something that the Lord was prompting me to do. I prayed about it and asked Him resulting in this little booklet. For those of you that have comforted me and encouraged me and continue to stay connected with me I am forever grateful for your friendship and fellowship. As I walk into this year I pray that the Lord will direct my path and give me strength and guide me through my days. Let us pray - Abba Father, Glorious Lord thank You that You are my Lord, You are my Strength and I pray for each dear and precious sister-in-Christ that as she walks through her day and asks and seeks You that she will boldly proclaim the promises of God and embrace the Word. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Blessings,
LyndiaS
